Ah yes, at last, breasts in a North American produced video game.

Is this a sign of progress? I really hope so. You Americans with your fear of something as entirely normal (at least to anyone who showers daily), and beautiful, as the natural human body is very childish and off putting. Then again, pretty much everything about American society is rather alien and confusing to me, but hopefully you're beginning to learn and catch up with the modern world.

Kudos. I am most pleased.

Honestly?  Can you not save the country bashing for another forum?  I don't care for most countries overseas (save for Russia) but I don't start insulting your home country do I?

It's like I stepped into a portal and it's 1776. King George, is that you?

Feels like I'll be stoned to death at any moment for pondering why the sky is blue.

You do realise BioWare is a Canadian company, right?

I have no issue with nudity, or even sex acts, but I do not want them featured gratuitously. Nudity, or sex, for the sake of it is always cheap and meaningless, its part of why I find the Witcher off putting, but when used as part of the narrative, such as the culmination of a romance, then it can have a comfortable place within the story/game. Hell, they can even feature full sex acts. Though I doubt Bioware would have the balls for that.

People know nothing about Canada in the rest of the world. It's in North America, so it must be a crony to the USA.

Would BioWare render the balls for that, is the real question.

Well, it's in North America.  I mean, that's not a very big place.  Just like how people from Poland and France are basically exactly the same in their cultural preferences.

Funny, cuz EA made The Saboteur in 2009, which had a nudity scene, as I recall.

But I suspect you're not here for honest argument anyway.

I bet North American people have no difficulty telling where Frédéric Chopin came from.

Nudity in american films seems to have gone through many phases. Recently I watched a movie from the 80s - "National Lampoon’s Vacation" - kinda a family comedy movie with Chevy Chase in his recurring role as Clark Griswold. And I was surprised how "normal" the film was in terms of nudity. Yes his wife stepped naked under the shower. :D They had marital sex! And this goes for many 80s movies from the USA.

But then during the 90s a stroke of shame seemed to have hit Hollywood. Woman sitting up in bed, blanket tucked to her chin even when standing up (who does this?) and so on.

Now it all seems to change again.

That's a classic.

Unfortunately, I heard they were remaking it.

Yeah, but that's easy.  Chopin was born in the city of Bulgaria in 1805, the illegitimate love-child of Eva Peron and Otto von Bismarck.  At that time, Bulgaria was part of the Hanseatic League and thus at war with Argentina, meaning Chopin's early life was filled with much poverty and need.  Only once he emigrated to Lichtenstein (which most people mistake for a country, but is in fact a variety of cheese popular along the Adriatic coastline) did he find commercial success with his breakthrough single - "Smack my B*tch up".

Americans do tend to be much more squeamish about nudity in general, especially female nudity, they often lose their minds at the sight of a bare nipple on television. Remember the reaction to the Janet Jackson nipple slip? I thought it was hilarious and would be quickly forgotten. Nope, America lost its mind and made a huge deal out of it. Gasp, I can see the nipple. Doesnt matter about low cut dresses that show almost all the breast, I dont want to see the nipple. Will someone PLEASE think of the children?

Children: *Thinking* awesome, boobs.

Hand sanitizer would be needed to clean those controllers and I'm ususally one who doesn't like using hand sanitizers all willy nilly

My thoughts exactly! An adult person don't need cheap porn/nude scenes to be fully satisfied with the game he's playing.

God of War, a wholly immature franchise, is utterly childish in this respect.

I wish there was a RPG that crossed into the AO rating even if no console would allow it and I don't have a gaming PC.
