I got a unique 1h-sword (finally my first!) and it has the attribute "10% focus gain". What does that mean?

Focus is used for certain SP powers (the ones with a yellowish symbol) - e.g. Counterstrike. Not used in MP atm.

I have a shield with it also. I also have a ring that improves thousand cuts, so yea. there is that. seems either focus skills were cut or they will be added in the future.
