The Avvar dudes are pretty large too, like Sky Watcher. He's taller than Qufingnari
I DID notice that about those elves, as well. The answer is obvious: EVERYONE SHRANK! Uh...except the Qunari. I want to meet a tall dwarf now, too!
There is a carta boss in the area where you go for varric's personal quest that is huge for no reason. (almost as tall as my qunari)
