This is an unprecedented display of cowardice by the major American movie theater chains and Sony. This only adds legitimacy to NK's image of power. It's unbelievable that North Korea achieved this level of mass censorship through fear and against Americans no less.

True. The poor who are forced to pick corn from cow **** in order to survive and the political prisoners would be vaporized while the NK ruling elite and their families would just bunker down. Then there's the possibility of the nuclear fallout reaching SK too.
Imo it would be wiser to capture and neutralize whoever's supplying Jong Un with Twinkies.

That figures, that was the one movie that I was interested in this year.
I think it just boils down to the Sony execs being afraid that NK releases more there emails onto the internet (protip: they'll likely do it anyway).

So long as NK has the backing of China the Kim dynasty isn't going anywhere. China will either have to pull the plug or the NK government will have to fall apart from within.
The problem for us now is that capitulating to our enemies in this manner shows weakness. Unfortunately the United States has been showing nothing but weakness for years now so this is just one more crack in the dam. A nation not respected by its allies or feared by its enemies is setting itself up for failure.
