They added these lame animals instead of darkspawn for the multiplayer? I don't get it.

If it's anything like ME3 Multiplayer, they're always adding new content in future updates.

Yeah, first content update is a little strange. Just random animals scattered throughout the levels now. Doesn't really feel like it fits in imo.
