I bought the Mass Effect trilogy Pack and all the DLC I want, I contacted origin help and it was confirmed that I need to log into origin everytime I want to play my games.

This is WRONG and arrogant of EA, I bought my games and the DLC, I should only have to activate my games once, I should NOT have to log into Origin every time I want to play my Trilogy.

Can Bioware please let me know how I can play my games offline I PAID FOR, I paid to play my games OFFLINE, not to indulge EA in their selfish greed to protect their money!

I know and I will never buy another game that uses Origin again, the reason these businesses the world over get away with their garbage is because people buy their crap, and so long as they are making money they dont care that people complain.

The only way you can play it without origin is with a crack, but that requires pirating and is illegal. Only ME1 and ME2 can be played without Origin being on, but it would still need to access Origin in order to open. Once the game opens then you can exit out of origin.

No, and I only have 2 other games I use without steam and origin, Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2.

I bought the Mass Effect the trilogy pack, as I wanted the complete series without buying stuff that would come with the Trilogy Pack.

I prefer my copy of Mass Effect 2 than the Trilogy Pack Mass Effect 2, as I dont need origin to use it.

The reasons I want to buy games instead of pirate them its because, I want to support game developers as making games are costly, and I want proper copies with no viruses and trojans.

Though Origin has changed that, even though I can log in offline, I dont want to submit to Origin's selfish and arrogant means of verifying my copy.

I dont want to log in to origin every time I want to play game, online or offline.

I have tried many times to demand origin fix issues like, origin store regional issues and log in issues, they refuse to fix them, and EA management is to blame.

I WILL NOT  buy any more games sold and managed by origin again.

And I hope most of you do the same.

Only when Origin starts to lose money, they will listen to us and take us seriously!

As I bought the Mass Effect Trilogy it is my right to alter my games as I please, including cracks, though only reason I dont use them for Mass Effect 3 because every Crack I tried has Trojans.

So I will settle with using Origin until I find another way or origin gives me what I want, which is software that will let me use my games without Origin!

The point is, I dont want origin at any stage of playing my games, being to open and play them.

I only want it to verify my copy once!

For once,I'd really like a logical, reasonable explanation as to why people "don't want to" buy games on Origin or use Origin in general. Heck, there's a post here in which the person says he doesn't use Steam as well.

1. Does it allow you to buy games? Yes.

2. Does it allow you to play the game that you bought? Yes.

3. Can you play it offline? Yes.

4. Do both platforms have sales? Yes.

What's the problem?

This is the last time I will say what my problem is!

I DO NOT want to log into origin offline and online everytime I want to start my games. SIMPLE, I DONT want to be tied to origin.

I want to start and play my games WITHOUT verifying every time my game is legit.

If you dont get that, its not my problem!

Until EA gives me what I want, I WILL NOT spend another cent in any currency on EA games I need to verify through Origin, through any software and online period.

I bought my game therefore I should not have to register my game as if it is a weapon, this is going to far to protect the money of a business with garbage customer service!

I understand video game companies need to make a profit, however if any people are to be in the art industry "only for money" they should not be in the industry at all.

And the main problem as I said here its the people who tolerate this garbage, Mass Effect 3 though great in game play and graphics is not good in story as mass Effect 2, which proves my point, EA is out for money, not customer service nor true art.

And people like that, so they will continue putting up with what EA gives them in exchange for their money!

Wow....haven't seen someone this butthurt in....whew *looks at the date*....quite a while.

"I bought my game therefore I should not have to register my game as if t was a weapon"

Yes,you should. Nobody is going to take it away from you,and nobody is going to break your little privacy or rights as a customer, but not registering it (and using DRM overall) means you're free to pirate it. And piracy must be stopped otherwise the industry is fucked.

Plus,if I was completely honest....those are the rules. Adapt.

"I DO NOT want to log into origin offline and online everytime I want to start my games. SIMPLE, I DONT want to be tied to origin."

Again,no logical reason other then mindless ranting.

"Until EA gives me what I want, I WILL NOT spend another cent in any currency on EA games I need to verify through Origin, through any software and online period."
You sound worse then my 5 year old cousin. And EA couldn't care less if a ranting gamer won't buy their games. Millions of other people will.

I know you already yake EA side, don't tell me to put up with EA.

You are telling me to give up my rights as a customer to protect their money, I will not do that.

They have to adapt to meand other paying customers, not the other way around.

I dont post what makes sense to you and what you agree with, so my post not being "logical" to you, means nothing to me.

If EA won't make the effort to find a way to protect their money without sacrificing my customer rights because "millions of othe people" put up with their garbage, I just don't buy.

It's people like you why so many businesses the world over are garbage.

You take their crap and accept it because they spread sweet frosting excuses like, anti piracy and security.

I stopped taking excuse for the crap I get long ago from businesses.

Don't try convincing me otherwise, you will fail.

I don't meed to convince you, its EA that needs to change, though that won't happen soon.

I don't need games bad enough to put up with "rules" which I don't follow because they are made and enforced by humans.

Will EA for my convenience? Anything could happen.

EA just followed Valve and Ubisoft.
i dont like origin too because it sucks, but i wanted to play games that requires origin -> so i had to accept it. and btw, more than 2 years after release, you could have known that you need origin to play ME3 and every game you buy on origin.

I did not buy the Mass Effect 3 game on origin, I bought DVD pack, and its still requires origin to install and play.

Reporting to origin every time I play Mass Effect 3 is like reporting to Canon everytime I use my Canon 7D camera, its not right.

I will not do that for future games just to protect some one else's money, which is still my money so long as I have to submit to these slave measures!

No matter what any one else says on this matter I wont change my mind on this.

EA and other businesses expect you to want their products badly enough to put up with this, NOT ME, some of you like Orikon even this is acceptable and "must" happen to product their money, "my money".

Hey Orikon, the problem is specifically with #2 and #3. Although the guy above does appear to be butt hurt, i understand his frustration. This is not just a problem with Oriigin it is with almost every DLC from amazon to itunes etc etc..
You do not really own the content you paid for. Let me explain.
I purchased my ME3 from the Amazon platform in 02/15. I played the game beat it, came back yesterday to give it a go again and here is Origin Forcing me to perform an update. Now when i go to be a good little boy and update and follow the rules Origin is saying "hey man you have to activate that game". Mind you i have already activated it and beat it and began playing it yesterday. Today I try and activate it through Origin's demands and what do you know the product key is already in use. No $hit Origin i activated it with you almost a year ago. Now i cannot play a game i bought and paid for because of EA and Origin's FAIL at life. So to answer your question previously, NO it does not allow me to play it and NO it does not let me play it offline. If Origin went bankrupt i wouldnt be able to play the game that i bought from amazon ever again? mind you i never play anything online with the game only the campaign. Mind you on amazon it did not tell me i needed Origin to play the game prior to purchase.
