Your worried about betraying Loghain? That's ironic.

Still hate Loghain after 10 years of atonement?  What he must do to redeem himself ? Kill the archedemon is not enough........ die vs Nightmare demons is not enough........

Sometimes peoples belive that they are so perfect that  everyone else  that have mad mistake must die under their feet.

Loghain is a traitor. Traitors are not easily forgiven. If he lives, the Orlesian wardens despise him for branding them traitors and not allowed them to enter Ferelden during the Blight

Traitor for have saved his men from the Horde......Even if Maric have allowed the wardens to return to Ferelden, sophia Dryden have used the order to fight the king of Ferelden in the past, she have created a dangerous precedent for the wardens in ferelden not Loghain.

Without Maric Loghain have no obligation towards the wardens During DAO.

Choosing between Alistair and Hawke was a lose, lose choice for me.  It was awful having to tell Varric that I had left Hawke behind, but I just didn't have the heart to leave my love from DA:O behind.
Then I felt bad at turning Leliana into a heartless agent of destruction.  I told her not to kill Natalie, but she went ahead anyway.
I'm not sure I made the right choice about Iron Bull's company, either.  I missed them in the tavern, and Bull was so sad afterwards.

There is a difference between an accident and an intentional action which will have severely negative consequences, and those severe negative consequences are the intention of your action. Loghain wanted all those people and his king to die, he wanted the elves to be enslaved by Tevinter, he wanted Arl Eamond to die of poison, his daughter to be tortured by. He is an irredeemably evil man who I will never be able to trust because of his evil intentional actions.

"We stand upon the precipice of change. The world fears the inevitable plummet into the abyss. Watch for that moment... and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap. It is only when you fall that you learn whether you can fly."  These were Flemeth's words to Hawke in DA2. The name of the quest where you have to make the decision to sacrifice Hawke is Here Lies the Abyss. A coincidence? I don't believe so. I used to feel guilty picking Hawke to leave behind, but now I believe this is his destiny.

Not guilt but the Hawke vs Warden choice is a tough one.  Saving the warden makes more sense but seeing as I played as Hawke for an entire game I end up saving Hawke.  Of course if I do a playthrough with Alistair as the Warden then I might sacrifice Hawke.  So Virmire like that decision.

How does saving generic random Warden #283 over Hawke make sense?

I sacrificed Bull's Chargers for the Qunari Alliance, but I felt horrible after seeing how IB mourns the death of his comrades, and I feel like **** for sacrificing the people I knew and drinks with so I'll choose to save the Chargers in my next play-through. Other than that I'm skeptical about the Qunari partnership even though I choose them because I do not want to waste any chance for possible alliance.

If you can't take out 3 mages with 6 people despite having every advantage, you probably wouldn't have survived long as a mercenary anyways. If they didn't die there, they'd probably die on their next mission anyways.

Hawke vs Loghain.

After all Loghain has been through it seems a betrayal to leave him behind, but I liked my Hawke. I wouldnt have minded saving them both and loosing a companion

Traitor has been dead for a long time (can't stand oath-breakers - and leaving your king to die breaks your oath as a noble) - Stroud vs. Hawke was hard (not that I liked the later all that much - on the other hand I am not that partial towards the wardens either!)...

I felt guilty about using the rite of tranquility on the magister (the mages rightfully pointed out I should not have done it - on the other hand I did not want to kill him (he has valuable insight and a tranquil will tell you what you want to know I think!)) - as a mage myself (and as someone who in RL thinks that rite is worse than death and anyone who uses it except in the most dire of dire circumstances (like say Harry Potter's Voldemort, if you could not get all his soul anchors and need him contained while you try it anyway) should be executed on the spot) I had a hard time chosing that (I liked the poetic justice about it though - the mighty magister brought down low...)

Only part I regret was the decision of the crestwood mayor. I totally just wanted to let him go, it was a blight he did what he had to. I hadn't done the warden part yet so didn't get to send him there.

I messed up the missions on war table and killed the wardens while saving that village.

Selling elves to slavery, torturing nobles who dare oppose his authority, hiring an apostate to assassinate Arl Eamon and his actions at Ostagar brands him a traitor. Loghain is no hero, he do a lot of terrible things for sake of his homeland and his paranoia that the Wardens are Orlesian collaborators prove that.

Leaving Stroud behind to fight the Nightmare demon. He may have been a secondary character but I always liked him.

Not in DA:I. But in DA2 I felt a lot of guilt. I sold Fenris to that Tevinter fellow. In hindsight I shouldn't have taken money for it.

I felt bad for not systematically massacring every mage/templar in the hinterlands after reading the hunter's journal.

I was planning to replay my 'cannon' run (bc why not), but even more motivated after that. The skreets will be red with blood, mannnnn.

There didn't really seem to be any truly horrible and cruel options.

Yeah I always feel bad for leaving Stroud in the Fade, but I can't let Hawke die so I always pick him.

Then I feel terrible for encouraging that Elf to join the Grey Wardens, only to have her murdered by them. That reaaaally annoyed me. Especially because I got annoyed at Solas for disapproving and then it turned out he was right. Grr.

I've not done a playthrough yet where I've let Bull's Chargers die. I will have to do this at some point but just the thought of it seems so mean :( And I'm not really a fan of the Qun either.
