Not enough people are naysaying about the key drop glitch. I do tend not to get as many connection-related issues as most people in my online games. Plus everyone on my friends list has the patch and I can't play with them.
I just hope I can either avoid the glitch altogether, or uninstall the update if it's too much. Either way I guess this fixes my problem of being so addicted to multiplayer I hardly make time for the campaign.

I have a little PTSD from playing Eve: DUST514, a free to play shooter with so many dev-related issues it's mind boggling.
day1 I got the key glitch 2 of 10 games I played, yesterday 1 of 15ish games.
and I don't think I have seen a match post DLC that has not included animals of some kind, and some of them are pretty refreshing. I think the bear could take any of the faction bosses 1 on 1.
I've actually yet to get the infamous key glitch from animals and the like. On PS3.
XBOX 360, and I have not experienced the "key glitch" even once in ~20 games since the Destruction DLC. *shrug*

(I'm still waiting for future patches before I get the game, to avoid the issues I keep hearing about, but I might as well know what I'm getting into beforehand.)

Sometimes the key doesn't drop at the end of the wave, and then you can't unlock the door to the next wave.
Seems to be related to the animals added in Destruction -- if the last enemy you kill in a wave is an animal, it doesn't drop a key (because maybe only the regular enemies are coded to drop keys?). Or maybe not. Or maybe yes, but there's some other confounding factor at work as well. No one knows.

You should! Even if it breaks 3/5 times, playing each new map a couple times round was fun. They change up the pacing and have some new encounter challenges.
I remember once even before the update where we didn't get a key and had to quit, it did happen last night in the 2nd room and kicked us out. This is on the PS3

Tell the party leader to take one for the team and leave so the others can continue, assuming host migration. I always host and always leave if the key doesn't drop. I find it typically doesn't happen twice in a game.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I run Perilous almost exclusively and we couldn't complete a game after an hour of cycling hosts desperately. When the same thing happened the next game, we all just gave up.
I downloaded it, works just fine. But does multiplayer help in single player?
If not then that is an update we need.

First game, made it right to demon commander.
Seppuku is much easier with a sharp sword. No need to drag it out.
I uninstalled DLC. So much better
Second game, beat the Venatori, **** even the last thing to die before a key was an animal (possessed by my Necromancer)
