I've been out today so I haven't had a chance to test it [maybe I'm lucky.] It genuinely sucks, I feel for you. 

 

Strange your getting majority lost connections. Obvious IK, but have you tried hosting your own sessions?

Oh this is when I search for lobbies. When I host my own, nobody joins. My connection is fine, I usually have no issues hosting, just today it seems like the game hates me. I have completed 1 match today from 5 hours worth of gameplay (im grinding a challenge so im keeping track of how many games I complete.)

I thought... what the hell, DLd for the PC and now at least half of my matches in the last two hours have been unbeatable because a key doesnt drop.  I wish I would have never DLd this "DLC".  

 

For anyone else reading this, DO NOT DOWNLOAD UNTIL THEY FIX IT!  It will only make you more mad at a game that is buggy enough to begin with.

At least from the player reports in this thread it appears that the PS4 and PC are having the most issues.  Both last gen consoles seem to be mostly unaffected.  And so far no one has admitted to playing on XB1 (and MS was giving them away).

 

I'm PS4 and my only game after the DLC wouldn't drop the key on wave 4.  I'm playing a different game until this gets sorted out because I don't have hours to play in the hopes of being able to finish a match.  By comparison, I have played a couple hundred missions before the patch and probably only experienced the key not dropping ~5 times.  Looks like I paid for a single player only game.

Actually guys once we figured out it was just the animals, the vast majority of my matches have been clean, bug-free runs.

 

Plus all you have to do is kick the leader and retry. I think this winds up giving the leader EXP points.

This has been my experience on Xbox 360 as well. To be fair I have only played ~20 matches since the DLC, but have only had this glitch occur to the point where the host had to drop twice and in both cases they voluntarily dropped. I have been fortunate that most of my groups have targeted the random-mals first.

I'm starting to think I'm the luckiest person out there. Still haven't run into this.

8 games yesterday, one of them bugged out.

 

If you have the luxury to play with people you know, make sure that you save one of the rooms closed. If the zone bugs out for you, open the room and get killed by the monsters in there. Atleast you'll still get rewarded instead of having to start over.

XBOX 360 and I experienced the "key glitch" last night for the first and so far only time out of ~40 games since the Destruction update.

 

The host left, we migrated hosts, and the host rejoined and all was well. Which was annoying but not a terrible workaround.
