Can sprint be the default speed for multiplayer, removing walk speed?
I have tried to imagine one, but I can't think of the benefit of having walking speed in multiplayer. Unlike a shooter, there's no risk-reward where sprinting means you can move much faster but you aren't aiming. It's kind of a nuisance, like when you catch on a small stone and it cancels your sprint. It's slightly fatiguing, and at worst it can lead to party members being separated from each other.
I'm happy to be corrected on the purpose of having walk speed.
