Because in all the games, surname is preordained. DA:O Dalish non-mage is Mahariel, City-elf is Tabris, Human Noble is Cousland, Dwarf Nobel is Aeducan, Mages are (elf) Surana and (human) Amell. In DA2 you got Hawke. In DA:I you have Dalish Lavellan, Qunari Adaar, Dwarf Cadash, and Human Trevelyan.

I've created two Lavellans so far. My first one is Dunbriel, a mage and good girl. I forgot to take screenshots of the sliders and I'm trying to recreate her for my Nightmare play through, it's proving a difficult task because I don't even remember the head I started with.

 

 

The second one is a dual wielding rogue. I wanted her to look like a drow and I'm quite satisfied with the outcome.

I'm thinking about changing her a bit but I don't even know what is best to do.

Anyone else able to go through the introduction blindfolded by now?   Here's my rogue, about what must be 50+ attempts to tweak just /one/ slider, and there are no good previews until you get back to Haven anyway....
