Some awesome characters in this thread!  I haven't been able to create one that I really really like, but this one isn't so bad:

You are all making some interesting elves... And I almost always get stuck with one type of appearance...

Can I ask if you're there is any particular face shape that you prefer, or it's just random mostly?

Cause it seems like face shape or preset is quite essential to how the character turns out...

I had to remake my elf character a couple of times before I was happy with her. I also have a brown-haired elf rogue that I plan to use for a Cullen romance, but I haven't decided on if I'm going to use her or make a new one, yet.

My most recent.. but something is still off. I think maybe the eyes are too big.  She animates ok at times, and others she just looks odd.

This is Daranya - and I tried to make her a mix of the Mousy-like shrunk-humans from DA:O and the more pronounced of DA2. Particularly with the darker skin and Golden Vallaslin.

Thank you. I didn't save them, I'm sorry. I have tried to create her so many times I don't really follow any, just sort of know where I want them to be... possibly why I end up with the same face. I can try to recreate them, won't be until after the weekend though.

Hope you don't mind that I kinda stole the idea

But I've decided to try recreating that elf as well, as a challenge more than anything

I guess she turned up close to yours, but still not that good-looking

I like her well enough in some cutscenes though.. In others she's just off.. But Solas might have some hope now I guess)

 

It's a tricky face to make, so I used it more as an inspiration more than anything tbh. But I think your elven lady looks pretty nice, though.

Also: hi RShara! Haven't seen you for ages! Your girl looks good!

@OP: It starts with the head you choose, then concentrate on the jawline and jowls. That's how I've always done it, anyway. The jawline makes or breaks pretty much everything. Also you may need to thin out most of the lips, and make sure the lipstick and lip liner match in colour.
 


And a couple of slightly angle pics so you can see what I mean. I'm putting them under the spoiler break because they are a little spoilery for the Solas romance and after the attack on Haven, just in case anyone hasn't gotten that far yet.

Loving this thread!  Everyone's elves are so gorgeous!  I literally cannot stop making female lavellans i think i have a problem.
