Oooh did Skara put the long hair for download?
Ive been waiting like a little puppy for it! - Makes ur inquisitor look so fab!
Yep, here it is!
I think she looks great. That hair really suits her
Thank you. I do like this hair the best on her.
I just got to Skyhold, but this is my current character, my (soon to be) Rift Mage Rowan. The first elf that I've played in DA:I.
The third one I like best. She looks so smug while Varric's simply glad they're alive.
Say about the side quests what you will, but Champions of the Just was really good.

A few more pictures of Naya
@ Chimeryczka: I uploaded the sliders for Naya http://imgur.com/a/LQZ14#0
I used these sliders and tweaked them a bit, to make this rebel Elf
:

I love her freckles, although it's too bad my computer can only handle medium settings, so they don't come out as well as I'd hoped
More of her under spoiler:
Ok so I had to try the new sidecut hair for Rowan. I loved the long hair...but this one is just...wow. I think it totally fits her personality, since she's a very angry feral predator. I also love that you can see her scar with this one.
Perhaps she'll choose to grow her hair out after she gets "tamed" a little bit by everybody's favorite ex-Templar... ![]()

I liked the longer hair better but the way you describe her I can really see how this suits her better - and it does look beautiful.
And the last pic could really be a "theme poster" for her - so dark and wild like you describe her - it looks great!

I haven't really written an in-depth backstory for her, but I do know that she was a loner (I'm also toying with the idea of having her been harmed in some way by humans, because she comes into DA:I hating them). She didn't get along with her clan, and because she was a loner they tended to shun her which only added to her anger. The only place she felt at home was alone in the wilds. Honestly the best way I can describe her personality would be to picture Tom Berenger's character in "Sniper."

So did her clan send her away to the conclave to get rid of her? Or did she went to the conclave on her own maybe? It is an intersting background for your character but I guess there has to be quite a lot you have to make up in your mind because I have the impression that the game does not really give you the necessary dialog options to really express distrust and hate here. It would make a good story for a fanfic - from hating humans to finally falling in love with one of them would be surely great to read.
Praise Creators! I located one of my saves I made before cutscene!
I miss times when you could name save... Or at least you had small screenshot next to it *cries*
Aine Lavellan, who, after making some screenshots outside cutscenes, turned out to be smugface.

Those are eye mods, right? Please, don't tell me those beautiful eyes are achievable without mods! My incompetence would crush me.

Yes it is a mod. I used Myfanwys eye mod from Nexus. It makes the eye color darker and adds dark spots. Other than that it is just grey outer color and brown/orange inner color that I used.

Great. List of mods I might use if I ever decide to get them grows...
Unfortunately, the closer I am to finishing my human mage pt, the more I feel like installing mods for future Qunari lady...

Do it ![]()
But nothing wrong with having multiple inquisitors for parallel playthroughs, just saying... ![]()
And the eye mod works for all races and affects the eye colors of NPCs as well.

Ugh! Don't tempt me!

.......
I'll try when I have more free time ![]()
To think neither DA:O nor DA2 could force me to mod (I wasn't even thinking about it), but then DAI Hairstyle Disaster happened >.>

Wow that is really disciplined of you - I always mod if possible. You have more options which is in general a good thing and for me it makes the game more enjoyable on further playthroughs.
But the problem is that this time (and in DA2) it isn't supported by Bioware so every patch can stop the mods from working until the modders find a fix for it. Thankfully (I can't thank them enough) they are always really hard working to get everything running again in short time.
And let me tell you: if you are accustomed to use mods, it is really hard not to use them ![]()
But that shouldn't stop you from trying them - there are so many great mods out there, I am sure you will love them when you use them ![]()

I was always happy enough with choices we had that I felt no need to mod. But with DAI I have this problem that I like maybe 5 hairstyles and not all of them on all races. With Qunari it's even worse. That's why I started to think about modding, since character appearance is important in games like this one. And don't start me on PJs. They're not that bad on human female, but elves look like a stick.
I've heard about that issue with patches. Well, I can always play another game while waiting for mods to work again (I still need to use my Dalish Warden save in DA2). It kind of reminds me of failed maintenance in MMO, where suddenly simple fix breaks game for hours (or days, I know examples like this)... And then you need to wait. At least with DAI game is still playable, while mods are being fixed ![]()
That's what I fear the most - that it'll not end at DAI. I've seen some modded Hawkes and Wardens. Some looked ridiculous, but there were also really nice ones. I don't think I would touch the ones that affect game storywise, but the ones improving appearance... Hmnmnmn...
Actually when I'll get a hang of it, I'm planning to get myself this eye mod, one with eyebrows (I have it saved somewhere), a few hair mods and PJs change. And that's what I'm sure I would get only from this forum. I can't imagine what I would get after really looking for mods.
Oh, by the way. Most hair mods work outside cutscenes as well, right?

I'm thinking her clan sent her away, since the game says that Lavellan was sent as a spy. Hmmm, I guess I could spin it that she's a sniper/spy, so it could be that she was sent in as sort of a covert ops-type person.
She's going to romance both Solas and Cullen (there is a well-known vanilla bug that allows for this, as well as the Multiple Romance Mod). Since she hates humans so much, she will naturally gravitate towards Solas in the beginning (since she feels like he's the only one she can talk to and/or identify with). However, after the inevitable "not so nice" ending with that romance, she will be end up with Cullen, and learn that race doesn't mean anything. She thought she'd be safest falling for an elf, but gets burned again. Ironically, it would be a human that would end up being her rock.
I know that the game doesn't give you much freedom to roleplay all the different personality types, but I'm pretty good at filling in the blanks in my head. I have a number of inquisitors with vastly different personality types. The good thing is that the game leaves a lot of stuff open to personal interpretation (i. e. you never really know if Solas/Lavellen actually get physical so you can play it any way you want - you never really know if the desk scene with Cullen is their first time, so you can play that any way you want, etc etc).

You have to make sure your Mesh settings are on Ultra or the hair mods won't work. And they still won't show up in the Black Emporium or the Mirror of Transformation because of a really odd coding choice by Bioware. But if you change your Inquisitor's hair using the Mirror and then leave the Black Emporium, the mod will kick in.

Ok, thanks! I'll remember that while moddin ![]()

Wow, that does sound interesting to play, I guess I should make myself more effort to flesh out my characters, I think with such a distinct personality and background it makes more fun to play and feels different even if the quests are largely the same. Solas/Cullen romance in one playthrough is tempting - too bad you can have only one dance at the ball.
Great - you already inspired me to play a templar and now I am really tempted to play a Solas/Cullen playthrough too - I guess I shouldn't plan to buy new games for the next months, but anyway thank you ![]()
So - joining the long hair mod party, here is my latest female inquisitor which I created for a Solas romance playthrough:
Syrenah Lavellan (mage):

She is stunning! I love her eyes and her sharp jaw and chin and the full lips.
