Here is my Quizzie. I love her so much; I think she's gorgeous. 

 

When making her in the CC, to get the right 'elfy' look, I tried to make her features as delicate as possible. I narrowed her jaw, gave her the smallest lips possible (then plumped them up just a bit using the sliders) and raised her cheekbones, but made her eyes big and round. Then I used the makeup sliders to further accentuate her eyes, and made her lip color the same as her hair and tattoo (my Lavellan does have a sense of style, after all!). I also raised her ears to make her face look just a little longer and narrower. Lastly, I think the contrast of having bangs on the left side of her face and the tattoo on the right also helps her elfin features.

While I feel no inclination whatsoever in playing as an elf, some of these are gorgeous. But the elven bodies are...well, not right. The shoulders in particular. I get that they wanted them to look graceful and stuff, but they look more like malnourished teens still waiting for the first tickle of puberty.

I know there have been alot of issues with the male elf, but even the female elf... in the first scene in Haven when she gets off the bed.. her head looks far too big for her body. They really could have done a better job with proportions, IMO anyway.

Yeah, that's the problem, they have ridiculously narrow shoulders.

Well if their heads were scaled down (for both male and females) it would fit the proportion. As it is, they have human sized heads and 10 year old bodies with arms that look like they'd split in half if they even tried to pick up a greatsword.

Make up not necessary when the features are right, but maybe she looks a bit too human. She's probably half-elf...

I play Andaris, an elven mage, as 3rd playthrough (with canon storyline).

 

 

I think she got a little mixed up between typicial elven and typicial human face structures (maybe she is an half elf,too?)

I wanted a kind and funny elf so i had her personality in mind. A brute elf would look very different though, i think (more aggressive, smaller/nearer eyes maybe, stronger make up, higher cheekbones, scars etc.).

In the creation process i made her cheekbones a little bit higher but less stronger. I kept a roundish cheek, bigger eyes and just a tiny hint of subtle/less make up & face tattoos. I used colors which are complementary to one another. Her jaw is "squarish" though ( i wanted kind of a long face).

True. Some scenes are OK with a female elf (at least for me) but most of the time elves just appear 'ridiculous'

Made this Elf Archer for my first Nightmare playthrough. I didn't intend for her to look so human, but that's how she ended up. Some of her facial expressions in the prologue looked kinda weird, but I think that's the case with most characters. Anyway, I'm happy with how she turned out.

Elf #1 using Preset 1 with over an hour's worth of changes.  There is no way I could ever recreate her, honestly.

Elves #2 and #3 using Preset 4 and basically just changing the slider settings for skin color, eye color, eye shape, nose shape, eyebrow shape, tattoos and hair, then changing the coloring for tattoos and makeup.  Very easy to replicate.

You could also just ask her, instead. She doesn't typically save sliders, but she's still willing to help out with presets and whatnot. 

 

But I agree, she's absolutely the Elf Master.

I'm shocked at how well her face animates, *way* better than 90% of my characters so far.  Not entirely sure why though!

I tried to make her  look like  Asian woman but Imho .. failed (she does look a bit like Geyisha tho) o...o

 

1. small face/cheeks

2. small nose

3. small lips (red for best contrast with skin) 

4. very light skin

5. black hair

6. big eyes O_O (and yellow)

 

Too bad DA:I doesn't have japanese voicing I would totally play her then. Now.. I don't know.

 

PS: Her forehead is soo damn BIG >_<
