Shaeris Lavellan at the beginning of her career.
Archer, Mythal vallaslin, trying really hard not to romance Cullen and stay in a relationship with Solas.
This is my 5th playthrough, I think.
Edit: I added a profile picture. I did my best to give her canon elven feautures: I hope it shows.

Here is my Ellana, I did already post this on Share your inquisitor thread, but here she is again.

This is my Sharis:

I obsess over character creation and try very hard to make them look natural and proportionate. I've only come across a few that don't look like anime/cartoon characters.

Hey, why the dig at everyone else's characters? We all take our time in character creation and probably all feel our Inqy is the bestest EVER! We just don't say it! Lol
I waste hours on CC and visit the Black Emporium at least 15 times after a cutscene because something about her face seems off LOL It's this compulsion that I have to overcome.
But there were some really impressive ones that just made me go "Wow! That looks like someone I could meet in real life!"

Some of us do some don't but then I'm not that picky I tend to just picture how I want my quizzy in mind for each playthrough and hen get as close as I can to it in the CC then I'm done usually for me it takes about 20 minutes. I know that both Solak and Topal that I posted here took all of 20 minutes to create in the CC
Making characters is fun.
I've spent a lot of time creating characters and I only used few of them for actual gameplays; for the others, I made a background story in my head and then used the CC to give the character a face.
I actually love the CC but it's very difficult when adding unique features to find the right balance between "uncanny valley" and "the average NPC", while all of the advisors and companions have unique features that look believable.

Yeah it is I enjoy using the CC to create some interesting characters as well. Of course I tend to play them through the story more often than not but sometimmes I just create a character I have in mind in the CC and just play through the prologue to see if I like the idea of creating a similar character later on a proper go through the game. That's kind of how I came up with the idea originally of going with a Lara Croft style mage as I did manage to get pretty close on one of my attempts to how Lara looks

All elves are lovely. The only garish looking things I see are humans.

yeah a lot of the female elves I've seen on here and the inquisitor thread are quite cute I think. Also the ones I've played in my playthrough's I'm very fond of too. I look forward to creating many more too eventually in future playthroughs. Although I've not got any planned atm I may play a Dalish one on DAO soon though as that's the only Origin I've not played a character through yet but I'm not sure when that will happen just yet.
Not bad not bad not bad!
It all depends on what exactly tickles someone's fancy. I generally dislike "average" when I am making a character. So that is not what I am aiming for. Also, "realistic" means nothing to me in a fantasy game. Believable would be a more appropriate word, in my opinion.

Yeah I agree I just do what works best for me and I'd advise others to do the same you cretainly seem to have the hang of it though as the quizzies I've seen you make are cute

Of course, that's also a HELL of a lot easier to do on the PC.
Honestly, I've yet to come across a PC-gamer's creation that isn't all svelte. Except Trevelyans, they're still shite.

I like svelte. I'm not aiming to make something looking like a potato. And of course it's easier on PC. We're not completely stuck with terrible hair and eyebrows. It's also one of the reason I play PC games in the first place. I would never play any game with a CC on a console tbh. Not that it's the only reason.
As for Trevelyans, they're harder than Lavellans but way easier than Adaars. The Qunari females are still the worst to pull out of the potatofield, in my opinion.
@sjsharp2011: Thanks, I appreciate that. ![]()

yeah it's pretty obviouslly going to be easier on PC because we have mods too play with the consoles don't have that option.

its easy for me to make unique and beautiful female trevelyans, but i could never make lavellans to my likings. Honest i have seen more beautiful hf quzzies than ef quzzies because lots of elves look the same to me
But i do like your elves alot , even your vanilla creations you posted last year. They are damn pretty

love this portrait shot
and her makeup , are you using the makeup mod on Nexus ?

Personally I can do any female of any species I think. Although I've not tried to do a Qunari female yet but I have made a lot of female elves, humans and dwarves that aer to my liking in DA but I find it harder to make unique males that are to my liking Which is why I think I've played moer females in DA as well. I have played a few males but cretainly lately I've played more females than males on these games. Although I've not made a female dwarf in DAI yet I have made a dwarf female in DAO in one of my runs. I do have a female Inquisitor dwarf planned but I want to do my 2 mages first.
