Various shots of my Lavellan:

I got stuck between two looks for my Dalish. The one on the right got voted into cannon via friends since I couldn't decide....Going through character customization has slowly led to certain things being standard for me. The eyes (violet and gold) and that vallaslin in dark grayed violet became standard. Though I have to wonder....what deity does that tattoo represent? I can find what others are, but that one has evaded me. Anyone know?

Wow, those are actually some of the cutest elf pics I've seen yet. Congrats.

As for creation, I based most of the face shape (jaw, cheek etc) on this: http://www.reddit.co...d_my_female_elf
I tweaked that a bit and changed the eyes, eyebrows, hair etc.

Best picture I have. Raghnaid Lavellan is growing on me but so help me once a face melter comes out I am going to fix so many minute flaws.
Ok, here I go: Nora Lavellan
Here is my Elf Female mage.

Most people think that that tattoo is the less elaborated vallaslin of Sylaise.
already posted this in the main character pic thread, but thought i'd add it here, too.
my latest elf, Lyra.

I just started a new character for my second playthrough (just finished the prologue). This is my first time playing as a elven female in the DA. This Lavellan is based off someone else's sliders with some personal adjustments.

Pretty happy with how mine turned out. One of the best character creators I've had to play with since forever.

Thank you.

I wish for the life of me, I could create a female elf half as decent as this. I'm just about ready to give up after the thousandth time creating and deleting. Playing an elf for me, just isn't in the cards it seems.
This is the third showing for my Elf, I posted her in the 'show your inquisitor' thread 2-3 weeks back and the sliders are also in the relevant thread. Due to work commitments she still hasn't reached Skyhold ![]()

Damn it's love at first sight.

It took me some time to get her right, the CC can be tricky. I wish I had sliders, I would happily share
I am so bad with the human female though, I just can't make her look good.
I have two elven ladies so far. I like 'em. The only tip I have is high cheekbones, big eyes and vallaslin that suits them. I think hairstyles that show off their pointy ears are good too.
This is probably my last character till some DLC or expansion. ![]()
Dat lip shine, forgot to reduce it.
I decided to abandon trying to find a way to trick the game into thinking a human was an elf and just made an elf.
Based off of this template.
The only changes are hair color, eye color, skin color, complexion, cheeks are a bit more pronounced, nose bridge looks more human (in my opinion), mouth is negligibly less wide, nostrils negligibly more wide. Eyebrows completely different. Also I brought the years up a lot. I think they're up as far as they can go. The original face brings the eye, nose, and mouth position up vertically but didn't bring the ears up much and I think that looked a bit weird.
Inside the character creator:

In the tutorial's terrible lighting

Finally some good lighting
Cassandra slightly disapproves of something

Female elves are really, really skinny. I definitely would increased the body size slider if one existed. But I'll find a way to live with it, maybe find a big puffy coat.
I took these screenshots with SEED37373's SweetFx settings only with bloom power turned down to 0.500 and with film grain on, because Mass Effect made me fall in love with film grain in games.
I normally don't like face tattoos, even when there is a lore reason (and restriction) on having them. You can finagle tattoos in this game such that they don't really show up, but there's just something weird about the elven faces and this particular tattoo really helps frame the face and make it look 100% better than it does without it (seriously, it looks weird).
I'd prefer it if the lip part of the tattoo could be removed, but oh well. Maybe some day with mods.
Also: how do you get depth of field to work with DAI Cinematic Tools?! All of the settings start with no values and I don't know what any of them do.
