HERE AGAIN, the LGBT AGENDA, it's not enough to support equal rights, but if you don't EMBRACE them shoving their issues in all aspects of your life, then they want you to be labeled "close-minded redneck homophobes".
Someone who takes the time to come and rant about this in a forum has issues. I mean really, you have to be a close minded redneck homophobe to be bothered by it this much. I'm not and therefore I barely notice the issue. I'm a straight gal who could care less where the issue comes up. I have straight friends who could care less about the issue coming up. I know a few people who have issues with LGBT people and ANY time the issue comes up it set them off. So really, the problem is you. Sorry to break it to you, but really it is your issue.
And actually, my LGBT friends don't care that much about it either but find it absurd when anyone gets pissed about any LGBT issue because to them, the whole effing world is built for heteros. To them, it's like they don't exist and trying to find something that has their POV or perspective is rare. So get over it because it's not like LGBT has taken over the universe. It has not. It just happens to be a little bit in a game and because you have an issue (which clearly you do) it sets you off.

I think it would have been nice if the game could figure out early on if you are into one thing or another and close those options off completely by determining how you are. If I don't choose to flirt with Dorian after the first 3 times it pops up, it shouldn't keep showing up later. It seemed like every time it popped up it was daring me to click it, lol. Even though I am not into that kind of thing, I do like his character a lot. His intro at the Haven battle was great.

If a game get's a little on the preachy side that's a fair point. Preaching is not for everyone, especially if they don't agree with the message.
However I think (forgive me if I've misunderstood) the opening poster has a problem with LGBT's.

If you are not bigoted and this is some misunderstanding, I highly advise you to review your opening post with a friend and perhaps reword it so that your intended message comes through without hostility. If you do have a problem with LGBT's well, I guess one cannot like everyone. It's not my place to change people's views even if I disagree with them.

What about bisexuel or pansexual people? Or just people who want to switch romances? The mere *presence* of something is hardly pushing anything. It's just an unambiguous "hey, this is here if you want it" so people who *do* want it know it's there.

Yes, hetero is everywhere. One tiny scene (might be the shortest in the whole game for companion side quests as well) is this big deal that messes with their entire world. Not even three minutes of your life. Dear maker, what has the world come to?
