It pisses me off how cheaters (read: LLDanTheMan) are promoting themselves 50 (yes, I did say 50) times a day, and yet don't even get punished by it, while my friends and I have to grind through perilous to get promotions
Next ban wave?

As others have said, priorities. I doubt they want everyone cheating, but if only a few people are doing it its fine, they'll get to it eventually. This isn't a PvP game, so everyone can only benefit from cheaters, for once.

Why do you care about leaderboard position? Would you seriously suggest bioware prioritize detecting and banning cheaters over fixing the many bugs this game has?
I see that you don't know how this is important in mmo type games.
Being competitive and have a leaderboard drive players to play more and spend more money, that's one of their source of motivation.
Why do you thing the Moba games got so popular ? Because of the leaderboard.
The OP, should just go play a other mmos which have the systems he seek.

Everyone understands that, but if you would sooner have a broken game with a reliable leaderboard than a bug free game with a broken leaderboard, it's you against the masses.

I am amazed at people who hate on those who want to keep the integrity of a game. They are either cheaters themselves OR do not have the mental capacity to understand that when honest players (for whatever reason) get frustrated because they see others cheating, they do RAGE QUIT and move on to another games.
When this happens enough times the number of players, playing to game goes down and the game supporter (EA_BioWare in this case) move on too other priorities too. Thus shortening the games life for those who like to play it.
I am not trying to be jerk here, but of all the things we can honestly use peer pressure and ridicule on; people wanting to stop and ban cheaters is not one of them.

PS: Hate cheaters? Install Fraps (free version). Get 30 second video of the cheater. PM a community manager with the evidence and move on. DO NOT post it in forums for too many reason to list.

Do you honestly think that because you have a feeling that you are entitled to behave however you wish? That is how children act and I doubt anyone here is a child. You care about the integrity of the game you say? Well, I care about the integrity of a forum community that as of late, has been rampant with emotional overreaction.I am amazed at people who hate on those who want to keep the integrity of a game. I really really reaaally think having a buggy game that crashes and locks you out of progression is way more likely to cause a person quit the game than a couple of names with unreal scores on a Leaderboard.
That being said, I do think it's something to fix, eventually. Not something as critical here as it would probably be on a PvP focused game.

Thats nice now a comment from someone whos not a complete retard. I dont care what the game company is or which government you are etc you wont get rid of hackers. For everyone 1 person on any game company/government payroll that is there to PREVENT hackers or catch hackers theres atleast 100k hackers. Not sure if your brains able to process this but 1v100k.... i wonder whos gonna win..... Sure all 100k of those arent super good etc but they dont need to be. Look what anon has done. You think ALL of them are really good hackers? Hell no. But like with any CO-OP be it a game or hacking or whatever when you put like minded individuals together who try to work together constantly it doesnt matter the strenghts and weaknesses of 1 person. Because as a whole when they work together they make up for the lack of talent or personal ability. Hence CO-OP. You CO-OP to accomplish something greater. Hence why in CO-OP games the game is always harder the more people you have in it. More mobs and tougher mobs.
While the idea of clearing out hackers is a nice one and god knows we have all been there in a game where hackers really affect the game and ruins the game (im not talking about games like this im talking like MMO's or Shooters etc.) So having people tryin got prevent hacking is always nice.
But in a game like this a dev team focusing more on fixing the bugs in the game balancing out the classes as much as possible and new content is going to make for a much better game.
Bottum line is if your playing for leaderboards in this game you should really consider a penis enlargement because spending hundreds of hours on a game to reach some meaningless leaderboard to say "Im number 1" in a video game...well... somethings lacking there. I'll let you figure out what.

I could not agree more. With most things in life, you are not going to get it perfect and I know they (insert company name here) will never get rid of ALL hackers. But I have gamed long enough to know and witness hackers make some games co-op and MP mode unplayable; COD WAW being one (God mode, people flying everywhere ect..) My point is simply there are better things to complain about (as you mentioned) than people who want to ensure BioWare are doing all they can about cheaters and hackers. Peace Out--Fawlcon

I'm not on the leaderboard and don't expect to be (I have a life).
I do expect BioWare to reasonably use their game stats to ban-hammer cheaters whose game time and leaderboard stats are clearly bent.
From what I can see of the leaderboards on Xbox One, they appear to be moderate and therefore not cheated.
