I've enjoyed Inquisition a lot and had lots of favourite moments, but I think we all have a few things we miss and think would have added much to the game, whether it is small or big. For me, the game felt detached from our origin race since we don't interact with them, so I felt less connected to my main PC compared to the last two games. Maybe it felt repetitive to add the same starting as Origins for Inquisition, starting with your family, clan, the calm before the storm episode. But I think, later on in the game at least, I would have really loved to visit our our relatives or clan, depending on which race we picked. Somewhere midways through the game, we could have gone to the Lavellan clan as an elf for example and visited them because my elf missed them so much, maybe even bring our LI with us. I would have loved to see Cullen interact with them, it would be like introducing the family; "Hey, here's my people of merry bunch of treehuggers. How do you find them?"

Agreed. The only LI missing from Origins that hadn't made an appearance sadly.

hard to say as to one but my 3 biggest things are:

 

1.) tie the zones to the main quest line better. Give each area its own storyline and mainplot storyline.

2.) More keeps and less camps. I loved the keeps, I just wish thhey had a larger role and more quests tied to them.

3.) to see my family, from the lavellan clan to the cadash carta family to the noble house of Trevelyan. I want to see them and interact with. Clan lavellan and their reaction to the temple of mythral would have been interesting.

Indeed. If the visiting took place after the major elf story events I wonder how things would have turned out.    Nobody likes to be told their gods are not what they thought I guess? Even my elf was taken aback, but seeing with your own eyes and all.

Reasons to go to places like Emprise Du Lion and Emerald Graves etc.

 

More armour styles across all three classes. The Inquisitors are so bland.

 

More opportunities to do things with companions besides killing stuff.

 

A better plot.

Yeah I wanted truly epic-looking endgame gear. DA2 gave that to you with the Champion armour set.

Trophy room. I wanted a large hall to display my dragon skulls. Other bosses could of had associated trophies as well. Occasionally have a party member NPC lingering in there to offer comments. IE, Iron Bull standing with his arms crossed admiring a dragon skull. Says something Iron Bullish.

There are several things I wish were in the game. If I had to pick just one, it would be modding tools.

Anders and something like suicide mission from ME2. I wish I was afraid of losing someone. And slideshow with ''future of companions'' after game ends, like in DAO.

Yeah I wouldn't want to be there for that (possible?) drama. Glad my LI was Cullen.

@Spork: Yep, I refuse to give up Vivienne's original hat (even though I never use it at this point and have helmets toggled off). Hmm, now that I think about it...individual helmet toggles would be nice if that were somehow doable. Some people have hats/helmets that should be seen, while others just don't - lol.

 

I also want to second Jukaga's trophy room suggestion.

More companions quests. I missed that feeling of involvement in their lives that you got in DA2. I would have happily sacrificed a couple of zones (the appeal of exploration mostly wears off by the time you unlock places like the Hissing Wastes anyway) for a second round of quests from everyone.

Individual helmets toggles is a great idea, cuz Bull's got this really cool mask I only ever get to see in the inventory screen *has helmets toggled off too* ... As for Vivienne, yeah I kept her hat for quite awhile too, until I got tired of her turning me down and threw it off the battlements as payback.

One thing? Well an additional female companion LI for both genders would've been cool, ideally a qunari (to offset Iron Bull being the only one outside of the potential PC), elf or dwarf since the female LIs always seem to be human. Don't care for Cassandra at all and Josie, while nice, doesn't really suit my non human PCs well.

Even if she wasn't an LI just having more female companions to take along with you like you do for male characters would be nice. Kind of stinks there's only 3 females and 6 males. Yes its been said before but I don't care I'll say it again.
