Merrill or just an Eve Myles voiced character, I should try and stop being a huge fan of Eve Myles acting and voicework but that would feel like taking a part of me away. Or just have Hawkes romance show up but the rest do not, that would mean I got my adorable Merrill and everyone else got their Fenris lyrium skins and Isabela err cushions.

"ENCHANTME..."

"ENCHANTMENT!"

...And by that, I mean Sandal. Almost made me never want to play the game, by not adding him...

Dang, someone already did this. I thought they were going to make something big of Sandal, seems that may have to wait until another game.

Also, a dog (as a fifth party member) or at least a Ranger like ability. Oh and more Dalish elves. I mean my first Inquisitor was Dalish and then that small group in Exalted Plain then...?

I am actually curous how merrill would react to solas and the elf inquistor and all that goes on with the elves. Also the whole sitiuation with hawke, if he/she romanced merrill.

I wish I could have my Mabari again, hopefully as a customizable companion (a la DA:O) but one that doesn't take up a companion slot (a la DA 2).

I was really sad to see that the only Mabari are in the game are enemies that you have to kill for crafting materials. I mean why would BioWare even put in the Mabari and then give them that heartbreaking death cry when you kill them, if not to feed off the many Mabari lovers' tears?  :crying:

Apart from that, I was really disappointed that all fantasy creatures in DA:I were mindless monsters to kill. You couldn't interact with the Giants, Mabari were trash mobs, Sylvans were nonexistent, same with the Werewolves and Golems (if you had them in your world state), no mention of the Awakened, etc. In DA:O/DA:A the world was full of very deep characters with widely divergent motivations and personalities for both the human (elf, dwarf, and quanri) and fantasy creatures that the player could interact with if they chose to. In DA:I anything that is not human or near human has been reduced to "Monster Smash!"

I would much rather go and talk with the Grand Oak, or work with a group of golems then listen to NPCs discuss the plight of the Mages/Elves AGAIN:angry:

I think that a side quest in which you visit your relatives would've been nice.

Yeah, there are war table missions, but if you could've actually been there instead of letting Leliana/Cullen/Jossie decide their fate it would've been better.

That way my clan wouldn't have died! (I'm looking at you Josephine! You made me replay 2 hours of game because of that mess up!)

Besides that I feel like I would've wanted my decisions to have a bit of a bigger impact I suppose.

Oh and,

Giving me a way to

Agree with so many of the previous posts!  Here is my list:

1. Modding tools and better hair. Come on, dat hair.  ;(

2. More connection to character through backstory/origin quest. WHo am I?  Who was I before here?  etc.

3. Deeper connection to companions - when I finished several companion questlines they didn't have a cutscene or conversation to even acknowledge it, not sure if bug or just companion not caring LOL  Doesn't help connection to characters though!  I just didn't feel that close, even to my LI.  It felt definitely as though they were trying to minimize this feature, and yet, it was often the motivating personal force behind my characters involvement in world events. Wish that had more time spent on it, personally. It didn't have much soul this go-around (trying different relationships to see if it was a character issue, just in case...)

4.  An actual purpose for building relationships and hiring agents, why did I waste my time again? What actually affect did this have?  I expected them to show up and do something...but nada.  My game was bugged in many ways, but ...

5. A more exciting boss fight.

Spoiler

6. individual helmet toggles - some of those companions look better in their hats :P

7. storage chest

8. Would also love the main questline/side quests to have a better way to fit the timeline or at least be better integrated together - it would give more purpose to those side quests if more had an effect on the outcome of the main questline.  Maybe having a final quest/major mission per zone that would have an effect on the final result of the game?  Something.  It was great to have a big semi-open world, but the reason for being IN it sometimes felt ...underwhelming.  Still, it sure was pretty. :)

9. redesigned elf model, for anatomical balance Keep whatever style you like, but make it balanced and rigged correctly and not just scaled down animations (if that is the issue, not sure, but there is a big issue with the arms. )

I guess the bottom line for me is moddability and connections: to the game, my character, other companions, the questline etc. There needs to be a reason, a purpose...a NEED to carry on moving forward through every quest.  Even DA2 did THAT aspect better, and I rarely give DA2 credit for very much. lol

A storage chest would have been nice. I have this tendency to hoard equipment - heh.

I hoard sentimental equipment and stuff like that crudely drawn herbs manual thingy, if I really like a piece of equipment I put it on a party member I don't take with me :(

There are many, but here's a random one:

Trophy room. I wanted a large hall to display my dragon skulls. Other bosses could of had associated trophies as well. Occasionally have a party member NPC lingering in there to offer comments. IE, Iron Bull standing with his arms crossed admiring a dragon skull. Says something Iron Bullish.

Or Cole replaying memories connected some trophy he looks at.

Mmm, these are awesome ideas.

I wonder if they'll have DLCs with anything like that.

More keeps and/or more customization for them.

Storage Chest.

Ability to break down armor and weapons, even if it's just basic components. ( you could lose the "unique" effects if you want to balance it)

Seconding that. I loved having a wolf at my side in Origins, would love to see the Ranger spec back. Can't help it, I'm a pet person. Or at least a mabari, as others said, they were pretty cute. :)

Healing magic, goddamnit :P

More ability slots - I love tactics, so lemme bloody well adapt to a battle during the battle, and choose the appropriate abilities/spells per enemy.

Storage chest.

Helmet toggle per individual. Vivienne without her magic hat is not as fabulous.

And something that I wish they'd take out: cheap shots at our emotions. Bull's personal quest was cheap cheap cheap

I badly wanted to steal that dragon replica from the haunted chateau and display it directly above my throne.

Yeah it looked pretty cool. I may have passed through that terrace more times than necessary just to see it.

Modding tools. All this stuff we want (better hair, storage chest, better UI/inventory, bug fixes, etc) -- we could fix it all ourselves and instead we're begging for Storage Chest DLC ... that sucks  <_<

More abilities slots! The 8 active skills limit is the worst consequence of "consolization" in DA:I, IMO. You'll end up with more than 8 active abilities in your tree. And for the Inquisitor, you really only get 7 slots for your class abilities since Mark of the Rift takes up one slot.

Oh, and second (third and fourth) modding tools. PC game could be much improved if only we had the tools ...

More relevance for the Eluvians. We briefly visit the 'in between' place for a single dialogue, and then never again. Briala has access to lots of them, but it never really comes up. After the Masked Empire, I was really looking forward to a quest taking place in the 'in between' Eluvian land.

The ability to leave fake Warden in the fade, if he's with the Inquisitor for the quest, instead of leaving Hawke/Loghain/Alistair/Stroud and when judging Ser Ruth, make her a companion who is a real Warden

Ser Ruth would be a little creepy I think, she just begs you for punishement the entire trial, having her as a companion would suck as I do not think many would take her based on first impressions, though I agree that you should have the option to leave a companion in the fade, so you can get rid of one in the worst way possible or give one you like a heroic death.

1-better hair

2-being able to craft some armor we buy at merchant , so skin unlock or something

3-merchant and storage at camp

4-A starting throne based on what you are . I have to judge someone sitting on Inquisition throne when I'm a Qunari ?? really??

5-More Skyhold Upgrades that do something and a cleaner Skyhold . And some use for our quarter beside a cutscene use

6-make the main story connect to all maps we unlock

7- auto-Loot

8- Quickbar (although I'm fine with what we have but many want more)

9- Better Inventory System

10-Being able to Skip that Song when you are about to get Skyhold

That's all I can think of...
