What is this build, i spend nearly twenty minutes trying to kill Ravager and it decimates me each time. I'm also playing on Nightmare.

I did a quick build on him. Mind you he's like lvl 23. But ask the passives I could hey and then boosted bianca up. Got him up to like 156% crit damage and 54% crit chance. Then just used leaping shot with that focus built up.

Holy crap it worked. Almost glitches me through the ground but swapped back to my inquisitor

Haha! Welcome to the Varric club my friend! The free alcohol and peanuts are right over there.

It was minding its' own business you monster!

Well... you see... what had happened was.... I'M SORRY OKAY! I-I needed her skin for my armors. :crying:

Fixed. Remember all dragons with wings are ladies.

That aside, Varric has been holding back on me. Nice one, OP, I knew Leaping Shot was one of my favorite Archer skills for a reason. It's awesome watching her health bar just disappear.

Huh? Wait, really? All dragons with wings are female?

Ok. I'm on my second pt and am upgrading Bianca every chance I get this time.

That's all I've ever wanted! To give Varric and Bianca the spotlight they deserve!

I can't help it...I keep imagining that's Varric's response when someone asks him "Did you really kill a dragon in 14 seconds?!" :D

Hahaha! Now you've got me imagining that too.

Varric was level 22 at the moment. His build isn't anything special, really. The Artificer and Archer tree are the main ones that are upgraded. However I do have 65% crit chance and 148% crit damage on him. Bianca was also handsomely upgraded and had a Dragon Slayer rune to boot.

Yes. :) Only female dragons grow wings as they mature. Male dragons are much smaller and only grow spurs where wings would normally be. So any dragon you encounter that flies in Dragon Age is female.

Except the old gods, they are all males.

Bah. It is fun. :P

A more likely reduction in efficiency would be to give it an internal cooldown, so it couldn't be triggered more often than, say, every 1s.  But as this is primary a singleplayer game and not an MMO, there is no need to address it at all.

(Yes, I know the game also has multiplayer. I'm trying to ignore that. I hate when multiplayer balancing screws up the fun in singleplayer. :( )

You are, of course, mistaken - DAI is a game with three classes and three subclasses each, and having one of the classes be clearly superior in every way limits player choice (because no one would pick the frail warrior who can only hit with a wooden stick if they can play a juggernaut of destruction instead).

If you are gonna keep poorly balanced classes then you might as well not bother having any other classes at all because the only players touching the class at all will be those that do it for a dare or a self imposed challenge (e.g. Skyrim naked builds)

Huh, well ****. The more you know. I thought they were all males.
