Is it just me, or does it seem even more fast-paced than Halo 4 was?

It looks like the most fast paced Halo game to date. Not that there is a problem with that. As long as it doesnt have loadouts or armour abilities it should be fine. I am a bit concerned about sprint returning, as well as the inclusion of ground pound and clamber (basically removes skill jumps)

4v4?

Seriously.

About about 10v10, then I'll buy it.

4v4 is classic Halo. There is also 8v8 for Big team, which involves vehicles. If four extra players is what makes or breaks a game for you then lol

I... like it. It's fast-paced but it looks like Halo, in a sense. I haven't played a Halo game since 3, though.

Granted, I'm annoyed with the ironsights, especially on a magnum. Is it really necessary?

Also, why do the in-game characters have to talk? Just a pet peeve of mine.

Lots of people have complained about that. They already removed the audio hitmarkers before the beta has even released, so I think theres a good chance theyll remove the in game talking

No one cares about your worthless, baseless opinion.

To anyone in the Xbox One Beta Preview program, you will get to play the beta all weekend, early access!

I've never been much of a Halo fan, but this one looks nice. Shame I don't have (nor plan on acquiring) an Xbox One.

So I got to play the beta last night. Here are my impressions:

  • This is a halo game. It feels like Halo and its fun
  • Pretty well balanced, the only thing I think needs to be addressed is the power of the Assault Rifle (just a slight nerf will do)
  • Graphics are beautiful
  • Sound design is excellent
  • Smart scope is NOT ADS. It's literally a new skin for the classic Halo scoping. I also find most weapons worked better from the hip anyways (like the AR)
  • Fast paced, and good movement speed. Sprint is balanced as its tied to your shields

Also, here are a few clips I recorded of triple kills:

All I know is I'm not buying an Xbox One just to play Halo 5. Guess it's the end of Master Chief for me.

That is the worst Trailer for anything I have ever seen.

The Chief version is better. Because unlike Locke, Chief isn't a melodramatic Prissy pants.
