I'm level 17.

* My warriors currently have a 155-180 AC

* My Main (Rogue) is producing armor around 145, but can get ahold of 170's ish AC

* I can produce Formal Attire for my Mages around 170-180 AC.

WTF?  My warriors in plate are running around at 180 ac and my mages in cloth are running around in 180 ac?  And my rogues are in Leather but below mages in Robes?

What am I missing?  Is the game so mis-itemized AC wise or am I missing a cache of Tier 2/3 Armor Schematics?

At the moment I can produce Tier 3 Cloth (177 Max AC), Tier 2 heavy (155 Max AC), And Tier 2 Medium (157 AC).

Equip your warriors with those high AC items, craft them with materials that remove class restrictions.

Thanks!

I've got to admit I didn't know there WERE items that removed class restrictions on equipment?  That somewhat falls into the "I almost don't believe you" realm?

My question was more along the line of wondering why I couldn't get ahold of heavy armor better than 180 when I can get ahold of light armor at 180.  That doesn't seem intelligable at all.  I don't remember this kind of dichotomy from either of the previous two games either...while it's been a while, I don't remeber my mages having better armor class than my warriors or rogues...

It still seems to come down to either VERY poor itimization or I'm missing something?

There are, silverite, dales loden wool and snoufleur skin for example - check the ingredient descriptions for details. You can put a mage robe on Iron Bull if you wish.

And there are high AC warrior schematics. One of the reasons silverite is so popular, is because people want their mages to be able to wear those.

Yep, especially fade touched silverite. One piece for a masterworks, then the best you can get (dragon bits probably) and you have a mage that can wear heavy armor with outrageous AC. Add something to let the mage buid guard and, barrier and, well invicible tank of a mage LOL. (Especially with Knight Enchanter, the mage can tank.)
