There seems to be some confusion by Gamestop customers when they enter their Cerberus promotion code in the activation screen.

Please do this:
Go to the Code Redemption page here: http://social.bioware.com/redeem/
Enter the Cerberus code you received from Gamespot (This applies to both PC and Xbox 360 copies)
PC Users will get a file to download and install. Please do so. Then restart the game and you will get your Cerberus activation.
Xbox 360
users DO NOT need to download the file. Simply redeem the code, restart
your game and you will get access to the Cerberus network.

We hope this makes things clearer. We are adding this message to the redemption page now as well.

What is the file called? I installed the ME2_Collectors.exe, didn't activate it. (Armour)

Thank you for the quick post Chris, please list what the file is called for clarification.

EDIT: I did redeem the Cerberus card I got with the CE in the page and it gave me nothing to download.

Still not working for me. The system keeps telling that the code is already in use but I still don't see Zaeed anywhere in my registered game promotions page.

Same problem...I went to the code redemption page and entered the code from the cerberus network card from my pc collector's edition and hit redeem and it gave me the collector's armor and weapon instead of access to the cerberus network.  I thought maybe the two codes just got switched up, but when I entered the code that was actually supposed to be for the collector's armor and weapon it went through, but did nothing because the cerberus code had already unlocked the armor and weapon.   Now I guess we have to wait to find out what went wrong before we get access.

Yah, I have a funny feeling that the codes got switched up. I wonder if it would've worked if I had redeemed the Collector's gear first before punching in the code for the Cerberus Network. If it did work I clearly wouldn't have known cuz it wasn't stated anywhere in the instructions.

Yeah I entered the code on the site before I loaded up the game and when I'm in it won't let me enter the code for the Cerberus network. Same as everyone else.



I do have all the armours downloaded though, just not the network.

Okay Chris, so if I keep getting the "code is already in use", is this supposed to be the solution to that error?

I already input my code and now I still can't access the cerberus network. I have the CE version and I just want to know if this solution you posted is the solution to my specific problem before I try it?

Edit: Okay I see others are still suffering from the same thing.

I wonder how many of us who can't get it. Have the collector's edition. I do remember the collectors armor and weapons coming up when I entered the cerebus code? Is it possible some collector's edition cerebus codes are collector's armor codes?

thats very possible. I had a similar problem with DA:O.
I'd just hold out. Also EAs phone line is about to explode so save yourself the frustration.

So gay. put in the code in the game, nothing happened. tried to put it in on the website, now the code is "already in use". still no access. who knows when they'll clear this up and fix the code issue, so i guess no Zaeed any time soon...

I assume I have the Terminus gear and M-490 Blackstorm gun because there wasn't a problem with entering those codes here (I am still sitting on the ME2 title screen).



I can see on the title screen that you can redeem your code for Cerberus Network by hitting the Y button. When I do this (and when I re-do the steps listed in post #1) there is an error saying the code is already in use.



By the way, I successfully downloaded the Blood Dragon armor over Xbox Live with no problems (again, I assume so -- I haven't played the game yet).

I got my blood dragon armor, and the collector stuff. but it wont give me access to the cerberus network, even though i entered the cerberus network code, not the collector one.

What gives?

I got my collectors edition at best buy, I used the collector's armor/wep code first, then entered the Cerberus code and it came up again with the armor again, but there is no change to my redeemed promotions page...

guess we have to wait and see...

Just finished install and tried to actvate network and got "code already in use"

 Same problem here: at start screen it shows "Connect   Activate Cerberus Network" but if I enter code again it says already in use.
And when I go to my profile it proposes to buy points for cerberus network, so it looks like it was not activated on my account

I'm having the same problem for the Xbox 360 version too. I activated the Cerberus code on this site but it isn't showing up ingame. And yes, my account is linked.
