Sera grew on me once I got her friendship convo, and all the little quirks clicked into place. I was like... 'OOOH. She needs a hug!'
Vivienne, on the otherhand, nothing really clicked into place for me at all. Even after her personal quests, I just don't like her. I think she's a grade A *****. Even when I agreed (or went neutral) with her, she disapproved of me... what the hell, woman, make up your mind! I won't be recruiting her on my current play through. /shrug
If you want to romance Sera, you may want to pick up Viv and just leave her in the courtyard. She has a funny bit of advice for one of Sera's personal quests that will later trigger a short cut scene. You get a different scene if Viv is not therre. But the Viv triggered one is ... better ![]()

I liked all the characters except for Blackwall who I felt was pretty bland. I didn't dislike him but I felt he was just bland as a character personally.

Sera, as I really disliked her immaturity and I find her sense of humor grating. That's not to say I necessarily think she's poorly written, but I personally couldn't stand her.
I pretty much liked everyone else. I expected to dislike Cole, but I warmed up to him. Still probably my second least favorite, but I don't dislike him.

Probably Cole his storyline is kinda generic. Pinocchio with spirits. I found myself forced to talk to him just because i wanted to finish personal quests even though he's dull and ugly. Vivienne i hate but at least she made me feel something.

Blackwall and Vivienne. Just... well, got bored, I guess. I did max their approval and saw their dialogue and did their quests, but I'd much rather we had someone like Loghain instead of Blackwall, and as for Vivienne... well, I really don't understand why she had to be in the game in the first place, except for "someone had to represent a pro-Circle mage".

I placed the Iron Bull on a pedestal before the game came out. And how quickly did he fall from grace when I actually got the game was fairly fast. His little "eh-ehehe" laugh really grated on my nerves after awhile. The saving net of his character for me was Krem, I kept talking to him for the Chargers.
I actually liked Sera, her giggle is really infectious. But I can understand why people lost patience with her character, although she developed into a younger sibling vibe for my Inquisitor.
The only other character I didn't connect with was Solas. He needed to take his head out of the cloud and stop dreaming, everything I did he disapproved of which didn't help. But he became extremely important at the end so in my next play through I shall have to give him anther try.

Blackwall for me.
I find him bland at best, unlikable/immoral at worst. Like others, I would often forget he was there, especially when making the rounds around Skyhold after the quests. After his reveal I managed to like him less, he went from forgettable indifference to dislike. I don't think what he did was very forgivable and I think he is a coward. He left it to literally the very last moment to finally come forward and I don't think spending 10 years feeling kinda bad about it, makes up for it. I can sometimes get behind darker/complex characters, but even all that didn't expand on him in an interesting way, at least not for me. I wanted to talk to him about it, get some dirt, something interesting, finally! But nothing, he wouldn't go into it.
So yeah, unlikable and boring to boot. ![]()

Ah! That's right; my answer is Blackwall.
So bland and boring that I completely forgot that he was in the game.

My list has evolved with time and probably will continue to evolve as I try out different team make-ups. I've never disliked any of them but initially Sera was at the bottom of the list. I'm still not a fan but she's risen up to meh category with Solas. The difference being that Solas was actually intended to be meh, for <reasons>
Wasn't a fan of Vivienne at first either. Then I started taking her on outings with Iron Bull. Their byplay has lent a certain subtext to her character that has stuck with me ever since. Now I can't picture her without the classic accoutrement coiled at her hip when dealing with her. ![]()
Dorian might normally grow tiresome except I was relieved to find he has a deadly serious side too. And flashes of pure temper which he is quick to identify if they aren't justified. He's a mixed bag so he went up the list into the interesting category.
As of now I think Blackwall and Cole are bottom of the list. I want to like Blackwall but he's just too sensitive and apt to disapprove with no warning. Though I think I finally figured out what rings his bell. We'll see. Cole is nowhere with me. I'm not getting what the point is... yet.

Vivienne can push my buttons. I get so mad I want to slap her and send her off to work on the farm with the ex-Duchess. Of course that means she is working as intended.
Blackwall is the only one I just can't seem to care about. Sleeping in the stables doesn't help his cause either. I was raised in the country. I know what that place smells like. So now I have associated Blackwall with the smell of horse sweat, soured hay and manure. It's not a bad smell all things considered. But it certainly lets you know you need to wash your hands before you eat.

Guess he hasn't watched the godfather 2, well, neither did I, but thats where wikiquote says it originates. Kind of a shocker to me since its such a famous and valid quote.
Anyway, yeah, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. You know hes a spy, so you welcome him in. That way you can keep an eye on him. I doubt the Quanari are just gonna give up when bull says they didn't let him join the club. I'd bet money that their plan B is much less attractive then bull.
Yeah, I don't think that quote's meaning supports the action at hand here.
Also, my Inquisitor and associates have plenty of more important things to do before "keeping an eye on" a spy.
It's not really about friend/enemy in the end as it is taking in a recruit whose first loyalty is... elsewhere.

Sera. Can't tolerate that erratic chipmunk on my team...
And Cole. He's like Sandal 2.0, except the original was entertaining.

For me, Solas and Blackwall. I liked their concepts before playing, but in-game, they do less than nothing for me, as party members and as LIs, Weird how that worked out!

Wow, talk about shallow. And I think the cheeks are meant to emphasise how tired, and stressed she is. Plus she is getting older.i dont care about all of them. they all not attractive to me. leliana is kinda attractive, but her cheek is very thin..diet freak?
i did not care for the Inquisitor at all, Not everyone headcannons (deal with it) and the Inquisitor dragged the entire experience down for me.

As much as the whole cast grew on me in my 162 hour playthrough, Vivienne felt... not necessarily under-developed, but like she didn't get much time in the spotlight. Also we had some very conflicting views on things but that's fine.
I brought Cole with me only once then quickly went back to camp and switched him out because he didn't fit my party setup very well as the only melee rogue (I thought of respeccing him but his specialization would be useless for an archer so I kept to Sera and Varric) but otherwise I like him a lot. And everyone else.
This is because she is going to be a part of the next game, so it was a case of not putting all your eggs in the same basket
