I tend to go for alliteration based on the characters name. Named Bull's axe "Bull's Beastly Brutalizer". One of my character was named Malika, so i named her daggers "Malika's Malice" and "Malika's Mercy". Malice tears them apart, Mercy ends their suffering.

Solas: References to wolves and Arlathan.

Iron Bull: Something about bulls...

Cassandra: It has the word seeker in there somewhere...

I did a couple in character, a pair of staffs named Rod of the Hivernal and Eye of the Storm. The rest are... very meta. A dawnstone Hossberg Twainer called Death by Pink, a bearded axe called He's a Lumberjack, a Serpent's Rage called Getodachoppa, and a thrusting longsword called Mr Pointy.

I'm generic as ****. I usually just add whatever rune I used to the end of the name, like "of dragon slaying" "of demon slaying" whatever.
