+9 strength
+5% stagger on being hit
and gives her the ability of 5% extra damage for every enemy within 5 meters
I assume that last skill actually works like an ability, and not gives the shield the ability... that would suck. Wording in the game isn't always that great

I think I named my dragonscale coat something boring like 'Iris Petals' (my inquisitor's name is Iris), but I named her two daggers Wit and Wisdom. Wit is black with a corrupting rune, and wisdom is gold dragonbone with a cleansing rune (I think...not at home right now.) Was pretty pleased with those.

Whatever name the game chose, since so far the names haven't been bad. If the game chose a name I considered stupid, I would change it...unless it was stupid in a 'haha' funny way.

I think I will name my weapons:
Compassion (Fire)
Kindness (Electricity)
Solicitude (Ice)
Benevolence (Dragon Rune)

I did several trips into that crestwood cave for Stormheart metal. I crafted it with one of those % chance of 10% better stats and made a longsword out of it and it got the boost. I then called it "sword of the chosen"

The staffs that look like Mickey I name them Mickey. I once made an orangey metal mage armor that I named "copper's revenge" because why not? Mostly I don't name them though.

I forced my girlfriend to use that cheese shield in crestwood. When she finally got to upgrading it she got into the habit of naming every shield after a type of cheese.
I know its cheesey but they are the best names ever, and they really stick out.

I made a nice mace that I named "The Knobknocker" and a suit of armor dubbed "The Shape of Adamant" and a two-handed weapon I called "The Torturor."

I only named two swords so far. One was Scourge. The other was Vesper. I only named them so I cound identify them quickly in my inventory clutter. Otherwise it's just "sturdy, shining, awesome sword of stabbiness" or whatever the computer generates.

"A gift to keep you safe." Rather sentimental, and I didn't bother naming the others. After reading this thread I'll have to up my game.

I went a way out of my depth and pieced together what I hope is something that made sense. Used what ever elven was available on the wiki page to create the staff Tu Elgar In Sulahn. "To make Spirit in sing". Which honestly is quite broken. I really should try to come up with a better name.

I tend to go with book titles. I started out trying to fit them to the characters via the title (not the book story itself, that's too much thinking). Mind, they all get swapped around so that goes out the window pretty quick.
I guess there are some poorly done references to the story/character arcs - so I'll put spoiler tags just in case.

Still dreaming up names for my greaves and the like. Might go with a Muppets theme.

Ride the Bull - wide the rear hull
EDIT: How typical to blankout. ![]()
Also made a staff called "Max load over the limits - mass the effect"
A mace called "The Expander" (refering to Sten/Morrigans chat in DA:O).
