I didn't like this game much at first until I got really into the multiplayer.

 

First let me address the haters. You need to understand that this is not *insert video game here* or even Mass Effect, just because its an RPG or an online co-op. It's different; Dragon Age is like the fine wine of gaming, it gets better with age and only people with a certain taste will enjoy it.

 

Yes I am a DA fanboy well guess what. I'm also an avid gamer, chances are I've spent more sheer waking moments of my life staring at the screens of video games than you have, which means I can properly critique this game. 

 

But for those of you who haven't played Origins or DA2... man, just to take the expertise you had from those games and applying it to multiplayer alone is an incredible experience. Your teammates might not know it, but that title "Deep Roads Veteran" holds more weight than they'd think.

 

Dear Bioware if you want this franchise to thrive, REMAKE ORIGINS! Do it more formally this time, like you did with Mass Effect, making it polished and neat. That will pull in the sales for sure.

Once when I was in the Deep Roads, I got lost and wandered in a circle for two days trying figure out how to get to Branka.

 

...man, if they remade Origins with a more DA:I style gameplay...I'd actually play through more than twice.

Please, I beg of you...dont make me complete the fade missions again.  Awesome the first time around, annoying and too long every time after that.

I modded that out so that you just jumped from party room to party room. Then modded the combat to be faster.

 

Then I made my own mod that made all party members into Mabari, with mabari skills (Overwhelm spam!    ), but retained their dialogue...The neutral stance mabari floating around trying to do complex human animations was beautifully horrifying.

...In other words? I didn't care for a lot of Origin's design choices, but I do prefer the smaller scale of the maps...basically mutliplayer is my ideal dragon age game, with it's smaller areas and better combat (barring archer shenanigans.)

Allow me to preface this statement by saying that I agree with you, gay warden, regarding how much I thoroughly enjoy DAI and DAMP.

 

No part of your opening post is a review of DAI. The only thing you say is that this game isn't other games, you've played a lot of games, you like this one and wish they remade DAO. That summation is quite literally as much depth as you provided for your self-proclaimed review. Please, we beg you, elucidate.
