 I've had 2 full playthroughs now, with the human noble warrior and a dalish elf warrior, and picked up shale both times.  After finishing last night with the dalish elf build, I realized that neither time, after the archdaemon battle, was shale present in the hall with the rest of the party.  I've known of endings that possibly involved wynne and shale, so I was wondering if this was just a ps3 bug, or if there was some condition that I missed going thru?

Also, has anyone else experienced just a glut of visual bugs when playing the dalish elf?  The only issue I had with the human noble, and it was rare, was the occasional audio out of sync, and that would correct itself right away.  I have numerous examples with the DE build of gui artifacts during cutscenes, and after-effects of battles.  Nothing to critical, just kind of ugly.

in all the playthroughs I have done Shale has never been in the cermony end, you get the info about Shale, from Wynne, when you speak to her.

I've never seen Shale in the end ceremony either, although I've never done his companion quest. It could be a glitch but I never paid much attention to it. It's just dialogue, nothing you can't live without. As far as your problems with the dalish, I never had any problems when I did my dalish run through so not sure what to tell you. You could try a reinstall of the game but you may need to contact support.

should do the Shale sidequest, learn some interesting things, also take Shale into the Anvil of the Void, find out all sort of nice little things on SHale.

interesting im still on my 1st play through on DAO. i have shale. but i still need to get the elves to join the lands meet. I'll post again later this week when i beat the game and see what happens with shale.
