I've always loved the BW games, their characters are so, well themselves. Love them, hate them, you're seldom indifferent. I am a now retired teacher that used to use games such as Planescape Torment, Bauldar's Gate, others as teaching tools classes in human values and cause and consequence and how we arrive at decisions. I wanted to share this article below I thought it was thoughtful and well written and really describes what I do so love about these games. It is spoiler heavy but worth a read and some thought. Especially as we see so many issues around race, religion, gender issues and so on in our own world. For me at least, BW games never fail to teach and explore some of the harder questions.
