The dwarves don't bother worshiping invisible and malevolent gods who either don't exist, ignore them, or more than often turn on their disciples(the maker, the old gods,etc). Rather they revere individual dwarves who have excelled as warriors, merchants, nobles, engineers as paragons, living gods. Essentially a form of ancestor worship. Sure they're not entirely infallible and some of the paragons(branka) are completely insane, but it poses an interesting contrast to other Theodosian religions. I really admire this form of religion because it's based on and influenced by real events and people, rather than ancient legends and intangible gods and forces.
Did they always revere paragons or did they worship gods of their own in the past?
