Yes, I have been on this position. It's the same old, same old "Oh, will they like me?" And etc. But, see, try talking with that person, invite them up for a movie you both like(hey, something in common!), go out live some moment and then you'll see what that person likes and what she doesn't and you could quickly resolve if "That's my ideal partner"
