Astrology is wishful thinking. Which in itself does have an effect, even if it isn't exactly what was the intent/what is on paper. It can affect how you view yourself, how you behave, how others view you. So even if its a lie, it still matters. Even if astrology-loving just stopped, there will always be that element of wishful thinking that propels us in directions that aren't quite rational but aren't quite entirely irrational. There may always be a 'beyond' that we try to understand with signs and symbols, and astrology is huge for that, at least until/unless we get off this rock and more regularly get to see stars in much different formations.

I was first with a Pisces and it was passionate but didn't work out. Then I shortly dated another guy but I dunno his sign. Then I dated a Leo and it ended disastrously only a couple months after. Then I dated another Leo and it has been over 3.5 years now and we're very happy, to the point that I can even contemplate the possibility of marriage later this decade, depending on how things go.
