So, in Dragon age 2, there is an quest for Isabela in act 1 were you help some ex raider guy to find him some poison. I didn't gave him what he wanted because I thought "welp, this obviously will come to bite me in the ass later". So now I'm curious. Is there any harsh consequence in giving him the poison? Otherwise, I would be willing to change this decision, as having an merchant in the Hanged man is very useful when it comes to changing companions gear.

Nothing came of it in Inquisition, (at least so far - maybe DLC will change that) and nothing does so in DA2. I say go right ahead and give him his poison.

It has no impact on inquisition, hardly any of the choices from DA2 impact inquisition, except for maybe Samson and well you'll just see....
