"A safe environment to express them"

Er, this is an RPG. Its kind of absurd to say you want to role play but only up until the point the game reacts to your decisions. If you're going to take an unpopular position its going to be unpopular. The party is a diverse cast of characters with differing beliefs and opinions. Any major decision or stance you take is likely going to ****** off someone. You can't please everyone all of the time especially when it comes to major social or political positions.

Welcome to life. >.>

And when you are throw into a religious zealot group your opinions are being observed through a very holy lense. Enjoy.

Why would anyone agree that mages should be totally free? their a danger to everyone around them, especially if untrained

I don't recall "totally" appearing in the options I've seen.  The real problems as I see them, are discontinuity between the options on the wheel and what your character actually says and a general lack of nuance. The folks of Thedas have little hope of achieving real solutions, because they're choosing among unqualified options.  I can imagine my character saying "mages should be free," but what she would mean by that is not at all what someone like Vivienne would hear--and there's no opportunity to explain her views.

Don't forget one thing, actually in the circle of mages, Mage Woman and Man can't marry...

Because the chantry don't want they to have childrens with reinforced magic powers... they are slaves ...

I can't imagine someone tell me don't marry, you don't have the right to marry and have children...

The chantry enslave mages and templars...

Remember they drug Templars with lyrium, the chantry is a drug dealer (if a templar don't agree with the chantry, they don't give him his lyrium dose)... in our world drug dealers go in jail...

I hate drug dealers, if i have one in front of me, i will..., i will ... i hate them (particularly hard drug dealers)...

Spoilers
Agreed. Their behaviour immediately after being freed was awful: Then they sided with Tevinter and destroyed Haven. Not to mention the Grey Warden Mages, who also fell to corruption and used Blood Magic to murder their order and create a demon army... I mean, I can't blame them 100%, but this makes it pretty clear we need a plan B to mitigate the damage they can do... And the current answer is: Templars.

What what ? Haven't you see the mages dead in red cliffs, killed by tevintides ?

Werelden mages aren't tevintide magisterium mages...

Like if you said a soldier and a killer... Both of them have weapons, one use to protect, the other use it to kill/destroy...
