I haven't had my playstation on for a few days.  i logged in this morning to check a few things to see that I had received a new message.

What was this message?

A friend informing me that there was a new DLC addition for DAMP in the store and there was no indicator or announcement for it.

I thought we could count on you BSN :(

There's only a big thread for the DLC and 100+ threads complaining about how it broke the game even more. If you actually read the forum, you would know that there was a DLC.

i think the point he is making is that many people do not read the forums and bioware should have made it clear somewhere like in-game.

Especially when people with dlc cant play with people without it.

I was surprised for the xbox that that there was no mention of it at all as I logged in the other day.  The next day it was finally up as one of the headline pieces on xbox live but otherwise how would a person know about it?  Suprised that when you log into the game or5 mp you don't get a message, 'new dlc available'

A lot of the people posting on this forum care more about the game community and the game than bioware.

Is the OP serious?

While you all look down your nose at OP, you have to realize that there is still a significant portion of the user base that has no idea the DLC is even available because they are not plugged into the forums or whatever detached updates BW put out.  Unless they added a splash screen in the last 48 hours, most people are just wondering why this game isn't being supported, but are unable to complain about new bugs in the patch, etc.

It's not the easiest to find.  I noticed when I loaded the US store that it was flagged on my PS4 store as an addition to the game and it was called Dragon Age Inquisition Destruction.  So you could search for it easily enough and find it.  On the EU store it wasn't flagged as an addtion and when I searched for Dragon Age it wasn't found.  I had to scroll through the games list to find it under Dragon Age as multiplayer expansion.  Very poor by the EU PS store if you ask me.

I do agree with OP though, it would be useful if BW could inform us of this somehow...although I think they are limited by the various store's release schedules on this point so I would have still had to mess around in the store to find it.

Very true and that is a terrible thing especially since they won't let the modders work their magic with this game.

And what *YOU* have to realize is the OP is explicitly asking why the BSN hasn't informed him of the DLC when the BSN has been talking rampantly about it since it released.

No, Veramis, OP is talking about BSN. BSN = Bioware Social Network. That's you, me, that troll over there, all of us. If OP meant Bioware then say Bioware. Don't throw the BSN under the bus.

Oh he did say BSN. Well anyway he shouldn't be blaming us, he should be blaming bioware for not announcing it properly.

Bioware did this same thing with ME3MP, and many people ended up thinking there was no one around because they would be searching for teams when 80-90% of the people still playing had different DLC's downloaded. Right now DA3MP community is quite fractured between DLC and no DLC, on PC anyway, because I can get full lobbies on either pretty fast.
