Well, the person I was quoting mentioned 'where people who aren't heterosexual or gender-conforming are not unsafe for the crime of existing' describing the world we have now as opposed to the world we should have, that's why I said that as long as there are haters we won't get that perfect world.

 

I know many examples of LGBT activists (I call them rainbow defenders ill with the world-saving) using "homophobia" against all of their oppositionists (that respects LGBT people) only because of a difference of opinions to destroy them in media. It's a virus of political corectness. But I wanted to say that hatred against LGBT is not the reason why Cullen is straight.

 

I wish Cullen would be bisexual, but there is another side of this coin - it's a big nonsense to make everyone bisexual and act like reality in the game was preserved.

Solas and Blackwall are both straight guys too.. and Cullen being bi wouldn't take his romance away from girls. As long as Cullen is still into girls I doubt most would have minded if he was bisexual in the DAI since it's not really away from anyone.

I think this is same as Kaiden case from ME series,who was supposed to be bi since ME1 but because of balance thing they added him as bi in ME3.I perhaps think that if they don't add Cullen as bi in patch they might add him in DLC or they might not add him at all like they never added Jack who was bi in first place yet BW limited her only to men and Tali who even at some point is ready to get her "suit linked with yours" and yet BW deleted last conversation for fem Shepard to trigger the event with Tali and they never added it as well despite people doing countless petitions...and let's not even mention what happened to all people who made even more petitions for Joker as LI,because in there they all got burned.

But honestly when it comes to DA:I I would prefer if they fixed "Harding romance" because seriously "WTF!?" in end?Many got trolled in here I'm sure,I didn't romanced anyone and I triggered romance with Harding,she says we will talk after battle and ~whoza!~ battle is done everyone is happy ~trandarada~ but Harding pretends like conversation before battle never happened.So seriously I hope this gets fixed first.

Also you're way to obsessed with that stuff in a fantasy action RPG about saving the world from ending. Romance is an "extra" thing in this game, it is there to add flavor and characterization, it is not the point of the game.

 

Go play some japanese visual novels or Sims if it is all you care about. Or better yet, stop obsessing over fantasyland romances and go out IRL once in a while.

The only way you can have bisexual cullen is if he shows up in the next game. Cindesigner ran out of time for him and patching in the lines or adding as a dlc is too complicated as it would have to overwrite all his maingame lines.

There's no way he'll be a love interest in the next game.  They have a rule against such things, so fixing it now is the only possible option.  I'm sure it'll be a tough challenge, but I'm sure that Bioware could manage it if they wanted to do so.  Personally I think they should put the effort in, cause this constant cutting of LGBT content is not okay.

Okay. Last time. If you don't intend to say that Bioware thinks that bi and gay male fans don't matter, then don't say so. The lack of me being in "that particular community" has nothing to do what your statement. You said that Bioware, regardless of the romantic content that's already in the game specific to gay and bi male fans, needs to reincorporate Cullen's bi content to prove that bi and gay male fans "matter." Your words. If Bioware thought that fanbase didn't matter, then there wouldn't be any gay or bi content.

Wanting to support male Cullenites for romance content is =/= to saying those fans do not matter or that "I think Bioware thinks they don't matter."

 

That train of thought is completely irrational. At no point in time have I ever said or implied anything you have accused me of.

 

If a member of the LGBTA community thinks I've spoken out of turn, I can certainly go back and try to rephrase my posts better. Since you are not, you don't have any grounds to tell me to change how I spoke - especially considering that you don't seem to think restoring content for a group that has notoriously been under represented is too herculean of a task to matter.

You do understand that heterosexuality is the majority of the whole freaking media, right? Now we have one game, where some people can finally play a character they always wanted to play and live their sexuality and you're saying something ignorant like "people forget straight is also a sexuality"? This is bullshit.

Nobody can forget that because your heterosexuality is everywhere. People like you are complaining that queer things get shoved up their faces, but guess what? It's the other way around. You are not the one who gets shoved a sexuality down their throat every single day in your life. You are not forced to play - let's just say- a gay woman in 80% of the games, right? Now imagine if that was the case.

 

People have all the right in the world to be upset about this, so let them be. I want to know how many straight people on this thread are against bi Cullen, because frankly, it wouldn't limit their options in any way. OMG. Do you even realise how bad your comment is? Sexuality and Personality are two different things. I am a Pansexual myself but i do not identify myself as just that. I am artistic, and flirty and geeky and lots of other stuff. Dating a woman, a boy, a transgender etc. does not change who i am as ahuman being / a person!

 

If you would not Date a guy because he has 2 ex girlfriends and also an ex boyfriend (this is an example) you really missing out.

Also pls do not give me **** like: "But bi ppl cheat are unfaithfull!" Like i said i am Pan and i had long commited relationships that lasted for years. If someone is loyal and a good person is difined by their personality not their sexuality.

His personality in Inquisition is the personality that they intended to give to a bisexual man, meaning that it wouldn't change. So the only difference those players will experience is the metagame knowledge that he is also capable of being attracted to men. If that's an issue for them, that's pretty sad and disturbing.
