Right. His point was in response to someone claiming that he was "a victim" because of that equality.

...........
Yeah, deal with it. Nicely put. You should, in fact, deal with it.
yea im dealing with people that cant deal with Cullen not being Bi in the Final release because the Developer meant Cullen as Straight and not Bi nicely put
Eh, I think it's a little less clear than that. Basically the only thing anyone has is Greg Ellis talking. There are no animations and very little context. And it couldn't have been cut all that late if there are no animations. It's not like they decided to cut it two weeks before it went gold. I'm not even sure "cut content" is accurate, now that I think about it, if the only content is VO. Cullen's romance was a late addition anyway, and they used the resources where they could.
And the male Inquisitor talking about it. And both Dorian and Cassandra talking about his relationship with Cullen.
And the tweets from the former developer saying it was cut not for narrative reasons, but purely because Cullen's cinedesigner ran out of time.

Great job of it, btw. You know what I do with threads that I find annoying? I avoid them and the headache that comes with them.

Have a look at Biscuit's post that I was quoting. He chose to make this no longer about the game, so I rolled with it. Learn to read.
Im Indeed a victim of this LGBT minority stuffs they always want to be represented to everything and i mean everything, the game is almost 50-50 -ish in their romance option deal with it
I don't want to sound like a whiny fan, but I really, really wish Bioware would restore Cullen's bisexuality. If all the lines are already recorded, and the only problem were the scenes, then why can't they do the animations now that the game is already out? It surely can't be /that/ expensive.
I wish there was a way to reach out the developers and let them know how much we want this.
Bioware always listens to feedback, and they sometimes even add stuff they didn't intend. If they could push the release date to add two extra romances for straight girls, then why can't they do this for us?
@Efvie: Gay guys still have two options though, same number as straight guys, so if a gay guy doesn't like either Dorian or Iron Bull then that's his problem, not the developer's. It's completely fair.
It's the same reason why it always amuses me when I see topics of straight guys complaining that they 'only' have one option in this game just because they don't like one of them - you still have two options, you not liking one (or sometimes both) is your problem. Case in point: I didn't like Morrigan in Origins, likewise I didn't like Jack or Tali in ME2, yet I still had two and three options respectively; me not liking all of them was my problem, the developers did give me choice, so I wasn't going to complain (I'm sure there were plenty of other guys who did in fact like them).
As to you wanting to open up all romances to everyone, well, I wholeheartedly disagree. Having certain restrictions gives a game more replay value and adds more variety to the characters - you shouldn't be able to get anyone and/or everyone. If you want to be able to do that play a game like the Sims or a dating simulator instead.
Yup.
My canon Warden and Hawke have no romances because I (as a player) ended up just not preferring the options presented. It doesn't mean they weren't good romances, but I didn't like them. I would have liked to, but it didn't work out that way. *shrug* I moved on and still enjoyed both games, and enjoy replaying them, even if I still don't romance anyone.
I actually think that's the point a lot of people are trying to make. There is equal representation. There are the same number of romance options. This thread may be about Cullen but it's not indicative of a lack of equality.
Simmer down guys, less Biowaremod03 returns for good.
03 is fabulous.
Ugh, so much ugliness in this thread. Asking for cut content restored is not a personal attack on heterosexuals. Don't worry the world still belongs to you. 99% of everything video games, tv, books, and life in general is still all catering to you.
However if we never ask for anything than we'll never make any progress. So asking for content that was intended to be in game to begin with is not exactly that hard to understand if you would just stop and apply logic to the situation.
I like how Dragon Age Inquisition is a 100 hour experience with lots of combat, questing, interacting with other characters in non-romantinc way and romance takes up like 0.05% of the game's time and doesn't really matter that much in the grand scheme of things but it seems there are a lot of people that play this game JUST for the romance.
I would like to honestly say to you that action RPG is probably not a genre for you and Japanese visual novels or Sims would be much better suited for you.
There are a lot of problems with the rest 99.95% of the game that are more important to fix and fulfilling your sex fantasies is just not gonna happen.

Okay.
Right. Which was what I said. If you don't have time to actually create these scenes, then you don't have time. The only "content" that was cut is what you can hear right now, and that's the audio.

Because it's not as simple as you think it is? Bioware released the game over a month ago. It's great, I really like it. The story, the characters, wildlife, everything. Give them a break guys, they've been working on this game for years.
This is all the reason I need to advocate not putting it back in. What kind of precedent would it set if they put it back in because the "ran out of time" (not saying it isn't a valid reason). Using my slippery slope, Mother Giselle analogy, then companies could start shipping half finished products with the thought of we'll patch in whatever later. And the male Inquisitor talking about it. And both Dorian and Cassandra talking about his relationship with Cullen.

Has there been an actual official confirmation from Bioware or are we just going off of 30sec of found dialog and someone's tweet that is no longer employed with the company?
I can imagine the game dev's considering all possibilities, possibly having their voice actors record some dialog "just in case" and then finally making the decision based on how they wanted to proceed with each character. Obviously characters like Dorian were pretty final from the start...and I wouldn't want it any other way. I love Dorian just the way he is, bless his little Tevinter heart.

Same number of romance optins a where?
Same number of romance optins a where?
Bi Men: 4
Bi Women: 6(5 if human, 4 if dwarf or qunari)
Gay Men: 2
Gay Women: 2
Straight Men: 2
Straight Women: 4(3 if human, 2 if dwarf or qunari)
So with the exception of female elves and humans, the options are equal.

Would it be possible to black out the twitter handle of the former dev? Allan came into the Cullen thread noting that it's best not to post the handle of a private twitter account. Not that it's not all over tumblr at this point, but still.

You go do that.
