Nobody has to do anything, but it would be nice nevertheless.

What irritates me is, that some devs answer this by "he's just straight.", and then we have other suspicious tweets, where people say that it's because of lack of time. I have no idea if those tweets are in fact reliable, but this constant back and forth looks just kind of... Off? I mean, they said the race gating was story reasons as well, but I didn't encounter anything regarding that in the actual game. I can't find those reasons, no character told me anything directly about their racial preferences or whatever. Solas just leaves you pondering in the corner until you go "ah! It's because of the dying elven race... Probably..." by yourself. Cullen doesn't make any sense to me at all, either.

If it's "story-reasons" I expect them to turn up in the actual story, you know?

If Cullen's straight, I expect him to tell my m!inquisitor that he's into girls upfront. No vague "I don't seek a relationship at the moment"-crap, that you could interpret as something else. They didn't shy away from making Dorian's sexual orientation an important part of his character (which is great), so why shy away from Cullen? If it's really part of his character, then show it.

If he had flirted with the male mage in Origins....I bet you right now he would have been Bi. They didn't go that route and people just need to deal with it

Also female Hawke should have been told about Karl.

I have been to 1 non straight male thread, with this it will be 2. It was Dorian thread to express my antipathy for him, because he stands against the ideals of Tevinter Imperium and his family interests.

You must be fun at parties.

So what you're saying is you are slowly developing an addiction for the non-straight threads. You'll come back for more, you like it too much.

I can't believe you're a real person. These sentiments are so ridiculous they're almost endearing, lmao. I'm not even offended I just wanna bake you some cookies or something. Do you like molasses?

Fook family "interests" tbh.

It's his right to do whatever her wants.

Besides, families who don't support their children are the scum of earth. And the reason why so many people are f00cked up in the head.

First let's clear something up.By your argument I can see that you mean something like "Wow women would never be attracted to guy who has f~cked and has thing for dudes." let's first start with shallow "thing" that you think it may affect women and that is...Cullen is virgin so he never f~cked dudes or anyone!
Now that "shallow" thing is out of the way I as female myself can assure you that someone's sexuality doesn't bother us at all as long as they like us! So someone's taste, history and ~yada yada~ doesn't interest us as long as that person wants to be with us as well!As long as that person does care for us,like us and is wanting us as us...then we don't give a single damn if they are bi or pansexual!
Now third thing!About 90% female players make male characters in DA/ME only to romance other dude lol So bi Cullen wouldn't affect female players in bad way, very opposite it would give girls one more reason to play guy simply because of it ;)
In all three cases your argument is more then invalid,it doesn't make no sense as first and as second I have yet to see a girl that complains about bi Cullen in fact do homework in this area a little and see that females are one in first place asking for bi Cullen.

Even though I largely agree with you, I'd appreciate it if you didn't speak for me in the future. Thanks. :)

I'd give one of these, alas, they are extinct for me.  But I will not weep.

I don't attend parties, at least not the kind you have in mind.

I disagree, to me family interests are of highest importance. Someone who refuses to extend family line (especially of noble birth) because of his whims is not a character that I can endorse. Double the pity considering he is the first Tevinter companion (I don't count Fenris).

Indeed, weeping is unseemely.

I weep for your future kids.

I hope they get smart enough to do anything they want, with or without your approval.

That's the problem, I think he's very serious.    As well as digging himself in deeper by the minute.

The future prospects for his loins are severly limited. I have yet to encounter a genetically viable female elf on planet earth.

If they reach such hights of 'smart' then I shall cast spell on them: disinheritance

I'm serious. I have been accused for 'trolling' several times. I guess that not being 'progressive' is a trolling itself on these forums. Yes, I hope to find long forgotten gold.

No, I'm positive that I'm speaking about DA:I. Straight to non straight ratio is in peril,

That's laughable, at best.

And even it if it were true, I'm not concerned with whether people get "romance options," since these are fictional characters in a story, not romance options.

The ratio of non straight to straight romances might be seen as pushing agendas. It does not matter if it is fictional or not, the message it carries is quite real.

Good, you'll make them a favor.

Time will tell. Knowing me, I would not let it happen in the first place, but it is not a time nor place to discuss it.

I'm not surprised at all by the response from the developers, and I can respect the fact that it won't be happening now if that's the way it's going to proceed. I still love Cullen, and this isn't going to keep me from visualizing him on some level of the bisexual spectrum considering I'd already rationalized it before any of this even happened.

I just hope that the majority of us can continue to respectfully agree to disagree.
