I do not want Cullen to be bisexual. I'm very glad Bioware made him as a straight male.

And we need f/f KISA too D:
Yes, of course! KISA's for ALL!
(I do tend to get tunnel vision for my m/m KISA. I'm going to warn you, I will play dirty to get him. I will pull out the "I'm not here to make friends...." line if need be. Be warned!)

Maybe it's some kind of super special awesome uncompressed version. Or it really is 3.2gb.
XD I'm willing to bet on the latter. The former is just...unlikely.

In fact, since you are a fan of m/m Cullen, you might like to join us in the 60+ page gay KISA thread, right here in the Feedback section. There is lots of love and pining for gay and lesbians KISAs in there. You'll fit right in!

For those who want a KISA, sentimentality is NOT an option.

"okay, the ONLY reason cullen wasn't romanceable by a male inquisitor in the final game is because his cinedesigner ran out of time."
I guess that's...hope maybe? The stuff might get patched in later or added along with DLC, like how sometimes DLC might include hidden patches. I think Bethesda has done things like that, could be mistaken. It's something at least, or clutching straws...

DLC? Let's pray to the maker! Those dialogue lines cannot be wasted.

Wait, where's that quote come from? Is that from a dev?

Maybe it's someone guessing because the male has all the romance dialogue voiced?
If that's the case more hope for a mod I guess. There'll probably be some clipping but hell there already is.

It's from a protected post on twitter, Abilitydrain has responded to it. I can't be sure but it could be a QA tester, that's my guess.

okay so i already know this is an unpopular opinion (great way to start out my post right?) but...
i'm disappointed that they were going to make him bi. i have always rolled my eyes at the people who complained that kaidan/anders were 'retconned gay' because the writers have said time and time again that they had always planned them that way, that they were meant to be that since the beginning. (with kaidan they didn't implement until the third, sadly. :L my shephard needed you!) i had faith they would never change their characters simply to be made romancable. but i will not believe them telling me that back when they first wrote him in origins he was bi. and i'm bi myself so i don't need the 'showing preference' or 'he could realize it later.' yes, i'm well aware. these are very real things. but if that was not who is character was, that's not his character and that is changing him for the sake of romance. so yes, that really disappoints me.
i think now it's too late to 'patch' this romance, because he's established straight at this point. maybe mods for those disappointed.
*sigh* this whole thing just really sits uncomfortably with me.
i do hope in the future they create a gay or bi character that is a noble knight in shining armor. but this whole thing makes me beyond disappointed.
(this might come off badly, but i really hope it doesn't. D : )
edit: the more i think about it the worse it gets. i really need to step back from this. i'm beyond upset. ("yes andrew, shut up now.") sighs even more. this is just really off putting, and makes me mad rghadfou

I figure if it didn't work, it didn't work. I wouldn't want any character to be forced into a sexuality that doesn't feel natural to the writers. <shrug>
I loved Iron Bull's romance, so I think we all have our preferences on that one.
Anyone who isn't Iron Bull-sexual is a liar ![]()
It would have been cool if manquisitor romance would have worked out for Cullen.

I very much doubt it. They’ve made their cut and this is what we got. Maybe a mod will open it, maybe not.
Still, I’m not sure about the explanation given though it’s certainly plausible. I haven’t played Cullen’s romance. Is there actually anything that would just not work for a gay relationship and would require diverging (and thus more time and resources)?
Edit: ah, I see another quote above though I know not the source. So they would have been able to do it just fine as far as the character and story go, just couldn’t get it done?

As far as I know, all the voice work is still in the games files too. That includes romance dialogue between the two and also party banter, with the exmaple of Dorian and Cassandra from that voice clip.

Ugh. I almost wish I hadn't learned about this.
It already made sense to me that, if done right, a male!quis romance with Cullen could work. To know that Bioware was considering it and will likely never do anything with what they have for it so far is legitimately making me sad.

[OPENS MOUTH]
[CLOSES MOUTH]
[OPENS MOUTH AGAIN]
I--I don't know what to say. On one hand, I want this very much, and I'd love to have this added into the game. I mean, it's all there except the scenes.
On the other hand, I feel a little like a hypocrite for wanting a straight LI to be made bisexual when I'd flip my lid for someone making the same suggestion for a homosexual LI. (But only a little--the situations are very different.)
