There any chance that we might get the ability to change our controller layouts in the future? Perhaps in a patch or something?
Specifically, I was hoping to see a Southpaw option (swapping the look and movement sticks) as that's the default control scheme I always use and find easiest to have fun with (even if games like DA:I aren't aim-precision).
The Invert-X and Invert-Y options are already there, so hopefully adding features like a stick swap wouldn't be too time consuming to add and could be greatly helpful to those of us that prefer controlling our characters with different layouts.

Any chance they could reliably find one on a PC?
Bioware is aware of these issues, not sure how they will proceed and with issues like the opening character creator still crashing 2 out of 3 times -well?

Can't really say what the various PC keyswitching / controller possibilities are, as I'm only on console (Xbox One specifically), so our current control mapping features are pretty limited.

No other thoughts?
Both ME2 and ME3 include these multiple control options, so I was hoping it'd be an easy add for BW to include here as well.

So no one else cares about including such extra options?
Well, unfortunately I guess I'll just have to accept the fact that I won't be playing DAI any time soon then.

Cause I think most 'southpaws' have learned to deal with the normal layout after decades of right handed layouts. (I'm not against adding the option, don't get me wrong, but this seems a really, really marginal problem)
And isn't it like.. physically damn near impossible to both control the right stick with your thumb for movement and use the skill buttons at the same time? Unless you use your index finger to press the buttons, of course, but that's... a little weird for me

Most of the games I own offer several control options (excluding ones where characters are set up differently, like sports games, board games, etc.). The ones off the top of my head that do offer multiple configurations include:
- All the Halo Games
- Half Life 2
- ID games like Doom 3 and Quake 4
- Star Wars Battlefront Series
- Bioshock 2 and Infinite
- All the COD games
- All the Gears of War games
- Oblivion and Skyrim (through the 360 dashboard settings)
- Fallout 3 and NV
- Titanfall
- Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare
- Destiny
- And of course Mass Effect 2 and 3
I'm technically Right Handed, but I've been playing with Southpaw controls for nearly 20 years (ever since Goldeneye for N64). And trying to go back and forth between character movement schemes messes with my head (If you use default controls, try switching to southpaw on some of the games that offer it to hopefully see what I mean).
And yeah, I do use my index finger (or sometimes reaching with the tip of my thumb, still moving with it's lower half) for the ABXY buttons when they occasionally need to be pressed, never really been much of an issue for me, even when I'm playing competitive multiplayer games.
