There's a bug in which Dorian's personal quest "The Last Resort of Good Men" will not activate at various stages and since various causes and solutions have sprung up, I thought it'll be good to make a collective topic about it.
Haven
-After obtaining Dorian, do not select the conversation that results in you talking about Alexius
(To be safe: Do not talk to Dorian at all until Skyhold)
Skyhold
-Talk to Dorian as soon as possible and exchaust all of his dialogue
-After Skyhold has reached stage 1 (The debris has been cleared from the Hall), talk to Dorian and see if his dialogue about Felix's fate triggers. (It should do so in a cutscene)
-Do not initiate dialogue with Varric atop of the battlements (Some have suggested his placement in the Hall stops Mother Giselle from appearing in some) before talking to Mother Giselle in the Hall.
Tavern
-If the cutscene does not trigger upon entering, reload and try again (To some, it seems to be randomly initiating), possibly by selecting Dorian when clicking on the tavern door.
This is what I've gathered so far but I will add more over time when I come by it. Anyone who has found a solution, please share it and if possible, mention if you did any of the steps above.
I will be playtesting this myself on PC to see if any of it works. It requires me to go through Redcliffe and then the siege of Haven so it might take me a bit.
