(Deathroot is very likely bugged and will not drop seeds. Crystal Grace does not have seeds [I believe you only need seven in the whole game if you get all the upgrades and finish all quests]. Also keep in mind that you can quick-save and -load prior to picking up a resource. This is especially useful when attempting to find rare seeds or attempting to pick up massive amount of herbs at once with the Optimal Cutting (Secrets) Perk.)

Why did the devs put one piece in here? 1) Inside Unadin's Grotto . That requires breaking into elven graves to get the key. Ugh. that's one unfinished piece. Is there another way into the tomb?

There is a third Solas artifact in the Western Approach. Once you solve all three Astrarium puzzles to unlock the hidden Astrarium reward cave, there is an artifact inside there you can activate. (This post outlines it: http://forum.bioware...0#entry18094121)

I'm working on the Banners in my current playthrough along with other Skyhold upgrades/decorations. It'll take a while for me to get through it, as it usually takes about 2-3 weeks for me to finish a run.

 

 

 

Most of the song lyrics can be found if you just hang out enough in your taverns, some are plot-based, there's 2 in Haven (which you should be able to get from the book merchant in Val Royeax if you've already gotten to Skyhold), one in Val Royeaux, one in Fallow Mire, one in Storm Coast, and one in Exalted Plains. I don't have locations for these yet because I've never had a problem finding them. This is something else I'll look for in this playthrough.

I wish I had thought to take screenshots for these. Iirc, you have to go to another section of the hill with the Ocularum (much easier to get to, but obviously, without the marker). There's a small camp in another section of that hill with the mosaic piece in it. I can take a screenshot when I get there to show you, but it'll probably be at least a week before I can get to it again.

 

There is not another way into Unadin's Grotto. If you're worried about the Dalish Approval, you can either do it prior to meeting them or after you've finished recruiting Loranil in order to avoid messing up that quest. If you're worried about the moral repercussions on your soul for breaking into Elven Graves, I can't do much to help with that.

Ah, yeah, that's a little confusing. I do reference the other lists occassionally when it makes for the best reference point. "SW of BoT 1" means "Southwest of Bottles of Thedas #1." You're going to be looking for that mosaic piece on top of one of the towers on the way to Redcliffe from the crossroads. It shouldn't be terribly hard to find. If you've done Vivienne's Circle Tomes quest, one of those tomes is on the same tower.

If you found the piece inside the tomb at the Burial Grounds, then you found #2. I referenced the Empty Square because it's a landmark, rather than the Burial Grounds, which is a region. It makes it easier to locate on the map once you've found the landmark.

I found the glitched mosiac at Hinterlands, 9) NW Veilfire Cave – Glitched to above. I had to climb the cliff to the left of the cave, take a leap to the ledge below. It's tricky as there're leaves obstructing the view so the camera have to be rotated so you can see what's in front. I continued left until I see a rocky slope, plunging waterfall to my left. It's slippery but I kept jumping until I got purchase and climbed up.

In regards to the Hinterlands mosaic pieces (both the glitched piece and the irretrievable one [9&10]), the "Mosaics in the Hinterlands" thread in the "Stuck in a Quest?" subforum will show you the location of both with pictures and explanations of how to get there. We still can't get to #10 because it is literally inside a rock on a cliff face. We are pretty much having to wait for BioWare to patch it at this point.

I've to say it wasn't clear because of the way it was phrased. I took it to mean the piece was at the empty square landmark at the Burial Grounds Tomb. I circled around it, looked at it from all sides for several long minutes before giving up in disgust and went inside the tomb where I found it.

 

The other one 3) Due E of Lindiranae's Fall, Up the hill with Ocularum (mini-camp nearby) was also confusing because there're two mini-camps. One on the slope leading up to the Ocularum and another one snugged at the side of the cliff. It's the latter that holds the piece. So again, I went round and round the general area of the Ocularum and found nothing. But thankfully, the images provided later are  a help.

Sorry about that. I wrote these descriptions as I was finding the pieces, so sometimes I wound note something that could end up being confusing later without realizing it. As a note: I'm postponing my current playthrough for a week or so. I got pretty burnt out from my first two and with the holidays, I'm trying to spend more time with my family instead of video games. That said, there should be more collections and lists coming before the end of January at the latest.
