Has to be said the key drop bug is annoying.
I'm getting it 1 game in 10 on Xbox One.
Just typing this now as my party are jumping around like loons to to leave area 4/5.
ah... host quit and host failed to transfer. Back to square one.

I've crashed at around the same rate despite having a high-end computer. Sadly patch 2 didn't fix any launch bugs [MP] [as far as I'm aware] but they did attempt to fix some bugs. Overall though the bugs reported in this forum weren't addressed [bar connections, which was seemingly undone.]
Well my main point was that the bug fixing team isn't specific to either SP or MP and have to deal with both, and unfortunate as it may be SP is likely to get priority because that's the main thing of the game. That's what the majority of the people are here for.
Even within the priority list, game breaking bugs aren't even guaranteed to get top spot. There's a variety of things that determine it including: Severity of the bug, how widespread is it, how easy of a fix is it, how frequently the bug happens, etc.
Not that I'm excusing BioWare from anything here. Just giving a bit of insight into how most developers handle bug fixing on a large scale.

Crafting materials don't seem to be dropping from the wild creatures added to the areas.
Is this another thing to be fixed next patch?

Fair enough, but I should hope multiple game-breaking bugs would have some precedence and urgency to them.

Lucky you.... I am getting it 3 in 5 games, and it is completely ruining the game and experience for me. This is insane.

Either fix this stupid key glitch, which robs us of our exp, or give us a way to kill ourselves so we can wipe and still get exp.... THIS IS FREAKING STUPID!!! Every other dang game, I lose all exp from this stupid key glitch.

The "no key" bug hits me several times a day as well. I *never* had this problem until the DLC was launched... And I had been playing for less than an hour after it was released when it first happened to me.
At first I took it as a weird occurrence since I had never seen it happen before... Then it started happening in about 15-20% of the games I played.
It's really hard for me to believe that an adequate level of QA was involved in the testing of the DLC before it was released. While I cannot intentionally reproduce the bug... It happens often enough that I encounter it several times a day. Honestly, I'm not really sure that it can be intentionally reproduced. I've had it happen on all three environments with mixes of many different classes... From a data gathering standpoint the only constant I can find is myself.
Also, I understand this is a bad time of year to be expecting the developers to be actively working on the product. Christmas is close by and I know that many of them are spending time with their families as they should be...
Some people suggested they should have rolled back the DLC when the problem surfaced... I tend to agree with that, but since I don't know what that DLC did under the hood... I really can't know if that was the best course of action or not... Maybe the Weekend Event relied on the DLC to be present for it to work. Maybe the player database requires it now to keep track of stats properly... Who knows?
I feel the root problem is there had not been proper QA performed with the DLC in the first place. If it had been, the problem would have been discovered and the DLC release could have been pushed until a future date and avoided having a buggy product while the development team had their downtime.
On the bright side, I'm leaving on a two week vacation friday so I won't be home to play anyway.

Weekend event worked fine without DLC. In just about any other game company, if an update causes the game to fail 10-20% of the time, there would be an immediate rollback, or at least people working around the clock to make a hotfix to be released the same day or next. What bioware has done is lazy beyond description.

Good to know... It didn't occur to me to try and delete the DLC package until the event was completed, so I didn't know if it was a requirement or not.
The main problem with removing the DLC now is just about everyone else that plays has it it installed and matchmaking is incredibly difficult without it.

Half the games i played last night were ended by key not dropping, infinite loading screen or round 5 not ending. Still love the game just really want to know when to expect a fix.
I get those feels. If the rate of patches is anything to go by, we can hopefully expect one in around 2 more weeks. But then it is Christmas and they have alot to fix.
