Is there a way to toggle all tactics either on or off with one option?

Playing on X1 version. Getting a tad frustrated having to go into the tactics menu and toggle each skill on or off for each character depending on the fight. When I'm just running around and fighting wolves or bandits I prefer to just let my party do their thing but when I turn the corner and run into a Dragon I like to take control of the fight.

As it is now, I'm having to go into the tactis menu for each charcter and set each skill either on or off depending on the fight.

Thanks in advanced for any advice or tips.

EDIT: In the Behavior tab there is a AI Tactics toggle but that only greys out tactis on that page, not the actual Tactics page.  Does this still toggle off ability use?

If you toggle off AI tactics they will stop using all abilities, however it will also make them stop auto attacking and using potions.

I have all AI off and play purely tactical. I can generally take out enemies two levels higher than me this way.

It's been fun, but sometimes mages or archers try to run into the fray, and I have to reissue their hold commands. I've learned to keep an eye on that. I think it might happen when they don't have a line of sight for attacks that require it. I'd prefer audible feedback, Bioware. A rude beep if I give an order they can't do or have them say "I don't have the shot." AI off should mean OFF.

Don't fear, little squishy mages. I'll keep an eye on you if the big meanies get too close. :) Your Maker has not abandoned you. :D

Actually, they will start attacking enemies that have gone aggro even with AI off, but it's inconsistent. They'll initiate combat as you approach, but in the middle of combat, if you have them do a special skill, they'll follow up by standing there doing nothing. I'd really at least a selectable option where if I don't come back to them right away they default to a basic attack.

Like I said above, I'm loving playing tactical, but, wow, I've really had to work around some mechanical issues. In my head canon now I'm a commander back at HQ watching via magical drone (hey, telecommunication crystals are in the game world in one mission) and issuing orders, and sometimes the troops get confused or over enthusiastic. :P

Any command you issue to a the AI will take them off hold, attack my target, use x ability, left clicking a specific target will take them off hold.  The AIU won't move even if they don't have LOS, the only exception is when you've traveled too far the will teleport adn it will release hold.
