So your ancestors were soldiers in the Wehrmacht? Definitely something I'd wanna share with everyone I meet. 
Not much into military stuff, but when did the Dutch conquer Europe? I love the Netherlands and the Dutch people in general are pretty awesome, but they haven't been the brutal conquering type for a really long time.
Dutch soldiers fought alongside Germany during WWII to help conquer most of Western and Eastern Europe. For the record I don't support their cause but I admire the tenacity and strength of the brave men and women who fought in those wars.
