Is there a "Don't stand in a pool of fire until dead" skill available?

Could also do with a 'contextual combat' skill.

Because when you're caught in a stream of dragon-fire, generally speaking when I press A I want you to jump out of the way, not bend down and start looting.

I always wonder what my companions think of my IQ's tendency to pick up loot in the middle of a very heated battle. I did not mean for him to do so at that time but that's what he thinks I meant for him to do.

LOl...  I love it that they put the pause key right next to the Windows key so when you need to pause in a fight a fumble finger will send you to your desktop and you may be dead by the time you get beck into the game.  (Yes, I know I can remap the keys but what in the hell were they thinking?  Were they thinking?)

I would also like a "stop running into a corner and climb the damn ladder to kill these a-holes...please...for the love of Andraste..." "stop running back to the corner after I manually move you!" skill.

Ah yes, ladders.
How about a 'I'm just climbing this ladder to grab that chest up there, there's no need for all three of you to follow me up' skill.

Read the same thing about Skyrim, and there you go....

Skyrim's bugs were at least random - and honestly, I ran into two on my first playthrough, one breaking a minor quest (because I ran the hell off w/o knowing it) and the second a misfire (the haunted house effects triggered outside instead of inside, making it really, really awesome).

Bioware released a game where a major conversation in the Main Quest froze and forced you to skip through it, and did so on multiple platforms.

Try fighting from scaffolds when one is on the ground. Try to keep your AI members on that scaffold or to try the one that's fighting on ground level to stay there and not walk back up the ladder.
Well, if you succeed in this it might even be so that party members as well as enemy AI fall through or fly up scaffolds and bridges. TOO AKWARD!

The right click on an object will only work on occasion but the F key will work the other times skill was an odd choice as well.

Yes. It's called Tac Cam.

The tac cam that can see through trees, bushes and ceilings so you can see your party skill would be pretty cool too.

It's still a good thing to use when the AI is acting buggy.

Awesome. I really lol-ed at some posts... and I've encountered quite a few of these problems myself haha!

One thing though that stands out and really irritates me to no end is how companions seem to teleport/fall/wtf and take huge chunks of what I can only imagine is "fall damage" especially when coming down a hill. Sometimes all it takes is a pebble on the road and I suddenly hear the "ARGHHH" and then a gulp and a potion gone... lol

So I'm looking for the "stop dying while going down a fkn hill" skill, along with "a pebble on a flat road shouldn't do 90% damage to your health" passive...

And omg the op's post with the pools of fire... hahaha... I simply gave up at the Hinterlands dragon and soloed him lol... the 3 other companions died exclusively because staying in the fire... lol

As for the commands... rofl... I imagine those commands (hold position, etc) as something of a suggestion. "Blackwall, can you stand over there and hold position please? Thank you"... 5 sec later Blackwall runs to fkville... *my character >  :crying: * ... haha!

Another of my favs would be a "don't get blind-sided out of the blue by a whatever when you have a loot window open" skill.

Ahahahaha

I have no idea how they'd implement this, but yeah. Having my ranged people move away from the dragon breathing fire on them would be pretty nice....

We won't even be in a fight and will be around fires and if my PC walks somewhere and they have to walk to fire to follow, they'll walk through fire...and then stand in it. Can't take those goofballs anywhere.  :P

This old chestnut from my WoW days comes to mind:

"Why are you still in the fire?"

"Was I supposed to go out of the fire?  I thought I was supposed to go in the fire.  Oh, wait my bad."

That's so awesome.. "Yeah, that makes logical sense... Why would I want to stand in a fire?" ... "Yeah I know, right?"

With my second playthrough, I'm encountering a frequent glitch where I can't even switch to my other party members to make them move out of fire, take potions, use tonics, or do anything useful.

I get this every now and then (on the 360) - no matter how much I press the buttons, unless I do a restart - I'm stuck as one character; even though the up and down buttons WORK on EVERY OTHER SCREEN >_<

I need a skill for myself called "don't kill your requisitions officer just because she had the audacity to address you"

Oh and the other skill they need is "stop blocking the doorway and let me in!" Seriously, why is it that my companions can knock me off a mountain but I can't squeeze past them through a doorway?
