Cousland, Hawke, and Trevelyan are all archers, so I'd probably give it to Trevelyan since he has by far the most effective activated abilities. He's probably just Long Shot/Full Draw/Hidden Blades the other two guys to death.

Canon 1

Mage Warden (isn't dead, took the Dark Ritual)

She's a Arcane Warrior, Spirt Healer, Battle Mage, Force Mage

She has super awesome weapons and amor that has really good stats

Alistair is her lover, so Mage and EX Templar tanking-couple

She did everything good in that game.

Hawke (Mage)

Hawke is a Spirt Healer, Force Mage

Regular Mage oufit

Hawke is in a relationship with Fenris, but Amell and Alistair are both super-high level tanks with amazing amor

Hawke and Amell one-on-one, Hawke would just be a annoyance to my Amell (Amell would win)

Inquistor Trevyllan

She is also a Mage, and she is a Knight-Enchantress

She is in a Relationship with Cullen, so he'd stay loyal, but..... sense I have a Female Mage Warden, I dunno...

She is also a goodie-two shoes, and has good amor and a good staff.

Tanking Couples: Fem Amell and Alistair VS Cullen and Trevyallen....

IM. NOT. SURE. They're both EX-Templar Mage Tanking groups Plus I don't want to kill or harm Cullen in anyway shape or form ^_^

Strongest (single match)

The Warden Commander

Most Strategic

The Warden Commander

Most Poplar

Hawke (yeah, sorry Hawke)

But if they command forces (Hawke and the Inquistor) They might have a chance, but it would be very slim.....

I guess if some mysterious force enthralled the three to fight each other (my PC's fighting each other would go against their respective ideologies otherwise), the Inquisitor would just light up the mark and that would be that. Beyond that, they'd probably be the deadliest assassin squad this side of Thedas (all Assassin rogues).

My Warden owns all their asses.

If the game mechanics for the Inquisitor can be applied to the Warden in DAO as well, that'd be even better.

My 4th Warden vs. my 4th Hawke vs. my 4th Inquisitor.

Warden: f!Brosca dual-wield rogue (Assassin/Duelist/Shadow).  Hawke: f!Hawke archer rogue (Assassin/Shadow).  Inquisitor: m!Lavellan Spirit/Storm mage (Rift Mage)

My Inquisitor would open up with a Pull of the Abyss on my Warden and Hawke.  If my Warden resisted that, he'd try following up with a Veilstrike.  My Warden would stealth while Hawke was busy picking herself up.  My Inquisitor would toss a Stonefist at Hawke before she got up, taking her out.  My Inquisitor would then cast Barrier on himself while waiting for my Warden to reappear.  After that, I'm not entirely sure how it would play out.  My Warden's got speed and maneuverability on her side, but my Inquisitor can match that with his defensive and offensive spells.  If I had to guess, I'd say that my Inquisitor would win.

My 5th Warden vs. my 5th Hawke vs. my 5th Inquisitor.

Warden: m!Tabris 2-hander warrior (Reaver/Berserker/Spirit Warrior).  Hawke: f!Hawke mage (Blood Mage/Force Mage).  Inquisitor: f!Lavellan pyro mage (Knight Enchanter).

Hawke wouldn't stand a chance against my Warden and Inquisitor, even with blood magic.  Bye-bye Hawke.  After that, my Inquisitor and Warden would hook up and be the most badass couple in Thedas.   B)

Whelp..

Warden Bellatrix

Mage

Entropy, fire, spirit and Keeper

Hawke:

Arcane, Spirit and Creation and Force mage

Inquisitor Kazmius Lavellan:

DW dagger tempest

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Quite honestly, I think my Hawke would die first due to him being mostly a support mage (but a crushing prison would hurt) but my warden would put up a huge fight to my Lavellan rogue but ultimately, he's a rogue and can straight up dodge almost any spell she'd throw at him. If he downed a lighting potion she wouldn't see him before she died. He'd definitely have to stay on the move though. One paralysis spell into death hex+death cloud would end him where he stood.
So maybe it'd be a tie on who gets pre-emptive hit.
He'd also be pretty damned impressed that a shem knows keeper magic. xD
Catrine Cousland vs. Niall Hawke vs. Milica Trevelyan
Catrine is two-hand sword Reaver, Niall is blood mage (he's so hypocritic about blood magic in DAI though) and Milica is pyromaniac (and wannabe Knight-Enchanter, but not there yet).
I'd say that Catrine just would face-roll both of them before they would have time to cast spells. Niall would loose cause although he's blood mage.. he doesn't have any dmg. And I played Catrine with nightmare in DA:A with no problems and Niall is useless even in normal, I must suck building blood mages. :rolleyes:
For my canon playthroughs: Warden (f!surana arcane warrior/battlemage, entropy/spirit) vs Hawke (double dagger assassin/shadow) - Hawke could probably one-shot or two-shot her, but if he gives her time to cast anything he's boned. Misdirection hex alone would do most of the work, th
Warden vs Inquisitor (sword and shield champion) would come donw to the wire. Warden would out-dps the inquisitor, but the inquisitor would out-tank her slightly. I'm not really sure who'd come out on top, it'd probably be down to how many lyrium potions the warden had on her.
Hawke would probably beat the inquisitor to a pulp without someone else there to lay the damage on him.
I have this tradition that every first character I create for each new game (i.e. my canon playthrough), is a male mage. So it would be a battle between mages. Surana is a Spirit Healer and supportive mage with crowd control spells, Hawke is a Force Mage with a focus on Entropy and Trevelyan is a Knight Enchanter, focused on dealing high damage. I think the Inquisitor would win this one since he has Fade Cloak and Fade Step to close in and get away from AoE attacks and traps... though in reality they wouldn't even fight and instead go drink themselves silly in the nearest tavern. My Quizzy and Hawke at least, while the Warden would be shaking his head and ensuring the other two manage to get home.
Hmm...
f!Cousland Warden = sword and shield warrior. Was a bit naughty and drank Avernus' dodgy concoction, so has badass Reaver skillz. Charming and mischievous, but all round good hearted character.
f!Hawke = two handed warrior. Full berserker tree. Humorous and cheeky, but also basically a good soul too.
f!Adaar = two handed warrior. Chose to go with Reaver as Templar seemed very odd for a Qunari, and Champion abilities were too passive. Again, she's a witty charmer who is generally a bit of a Paragon type.
So, they probably wouldn't wish to fight in the first place. They're likely to be best mates, in fact. But for the purpose of hypothetical forum threads... ;)
I'd like to say my Warden. She's a right little tank. However, Hawke bested an Arishok, and Adaar is also a tank who's about 7 foot tall. The Warden is the most skilled, but I think Hawke might just win based on brute force.
Hawke vs Adaar - Hawke again is likely to win...just.
 Well, my Lavellan is my Mahariel's son, so they would not be inclined to fight each other.
But if they were, for whatever reason, and Hawke were added to the mix...
Lavellan is the least of the three. He'd be killed first. Hawke and HoF are very close for me, but the HoF has a very exotic blend of powers (Dalish Ranger, Grey Warden, Avernus potion, dragon blood, Antivan Crow training, Legion of the Dead scout training) as well as experience against enemies well beyond the other two. HoF would come out on top, I think.
It is unfair to this fight , my Warden would put an end to Hawke and the Inquisitor easily.
How?
Void hand equals insta death.
My Hawke was basically death incarnate, so he would roll over the other two without even noticing.  Between the Warden and the Inquisitor (assuming a surprise resurrection of the Warden), the Inquisitor gets his hand chopped off before being put down like the scrub he is.
This is interesting.
My Warden would not get into a fight if he could avoid it - he's the Chancellor of Ferelden, thank you very much, and engaging in magical brawls in the streets of Denerim is hardly going to put the smallfolk at ease. Especially after that Anders fellow. (I am placing this melee at a time before he spontaneously loses his wits and sanity and decides to abandon every one of his friends and responsibilities to go on some snipe hunt re: Bioware canon)
But lets say he doesn't have a choice. If it comes to a fight he's a mage that specializes in "stealthing" his magic use - invisible paralysis bolts, pre-carved glyphs, assorted barriers and hexes, life drain and regeneration. Since he is prudently aware of the Templars and the dangers in losing all his tricks with one well-aimed Smite (once again, this brawl takes place before the Templars inexplicably neuter themselves from being able to cast Smite), he has a reserve of blood magic that is an absolute last ditch weapon - rightly so, for that would get the Chantry even more shirty than usual.
Hawke is a belligerent, cocky sort. Carrying two short swords he adamantly refers to as "daggers," he comes with an incredible level of agility as well as his Assassinate ability, not to mention his chain critical hit ability from the Dual-Weapon Tree. He's can use the art of a Shadow to cloak himself from enemy sight, and can summon a Decoy. Fairly standard DPS rogue build.
Trevelyan is a hapless country noble from the boonies ("Ostwick is not "the boonies!") who just wants everyone to get along, damnit! He has a greatsword and can get angry? Sometimes? And drink their... blood? Honestly, it's hard to remember when you bleed yourself on purpose. He can only perform eight manoeuvers at a time, despite knowing far more. Perhaps it was all the hits to the head - comes with the job of being a frontline melee fighter.
I'm giving this to Hawke. Warden is rusty and disengages at opportunity. Hawke cloaks and assasinates Trevelyan, and wears him down with grenades and poison. Trevelyan activates his Ring of Pain and his damage keeps going up, but I think Hawke is agile enough to dodge the large, relatively clumsy blows. A DAI warrior Guard will make Hawke's job very difficult, as Trevelyan has a metric ton of "health" to chip down, and two-to-three blows will reduce Hawke to a paste, but I characterized my Hawke as the very pragmatic, dirty sort of fighter. He's ex-Ferelden military and just wants to kill as efficiently as possible while my Trevelyan has a gentle soul, and always offers mercy to the seemingly vanquished. An opening my Hawke will definitely take.
Three nights later, Hawke breaks into the Chancellor's apartments with some magebane and cuts Warden's throat. The end.
Sheer talent alone? My Warden, hands down. All of my PC's are female human DW Rogues so they are equal on that.
My Warden (Lithréna Cousland) was noble, and how I had her created in my head, she trained and dueled with her brother quite a lot. With her money and status, she probably had pretty good weapons and opportunities to practice. She was a sarcastic trouble-maker, but she always made time for training.
My Hawke (Nora) trained a lot as well, however she never had the opportunities my Warden had. Hawke also had to help take care of the family and she had a knack for getting into mischief which distracted her.
My Inquisitor (Valiena Trevelyan), being the youngest child, practiced but really she just messed around. Her attitude towards the Inquistion in the beginning was, "I have no idea what's going, and I don't want to do this." That's why she got along so well with Blackwall, she would sneak away from the attention and go hang out in the stables with him because he realized she wasn't cool with all of this and he just let her relax and hang out. Essentially she didn't become proficient with her blades until right before the destruction of Haven/right when they found Skyhold.
I foresee the fight going like this: My Hawke would run her mouth with her snarkiness, my Warden would be sarcastic back and it would escalate until my Warden got fed up and went to town (she had the "violent" voice) on my Hawke. My Inquisitor probably wouldn't get involved though, but if she did, Lithréna would annihilate her.
He's friendly like that.
