The DLC has completely borked my game. I played through Warden's Keep and TSP just fine, but now I have no map markers and Levi appears in my camp even though I've already completed TWK (and have the quest entry to prove it). As for Shale, whenever I try to talk to him/her/it, the graphics freak out, I get asked to say the activation phrase that was needed when he/she/it was still a statue, and after selecting an option my characters become stuck on a black background. Oh, and all of my characters are now missing any and all of the items I obtained from the DLC areas. Good times.

Which platform? Have you tried loading an older save? We've never seen anything like this in all our testing, so whatever additional info you can provide will help try and track this down.

It's on the PC version. When I play an extended session I usually only use the quick save, so unfortunately I can't pinpoint a specific time as to when it started occuring. I do know that my last seemingly working save was made after the first battle at Redcliffe just before meeting Teagan at the windmill (other note: after Ostagar, completed TWK, TSP, and then headed straight to Redcliffe), and that the game got a bit wonky during the battles inside the castle (I noticed Alistair was suddenly missing his TWK-claimed sword) somewhere right around the time of the encounter with Connor. Perhaps the encounter itself was the culprit; I crashed two times before getting through it. Please let me know if there is any other information that could be helpful, and I'll do what I can to provide it.

Here's a simple tutorial on how I fixed a broken DLC package that was supposedly installed but not really working (conversations broken, quest markers not appearing, etc.) Worked for me, see if it helps.

Has there been any other fix for this other than uninstallign and reinstalling any DLC?

My Warden Commander Armor, Starfang and warden's keep chest full of stuff is gone now.

i was playing this morning, it was there. i finished freeing queen Anora and escaping from fort Drakon this morning, saved out in Denerim market district, loaded the save and all the stuff was gone and Levi is back in my camp.

Having similar problem on my pc version. Ran thru the addons and played thru with shale even. Shale is accessable at any "change the party" exit. If I click on shale in camp the screen darks out save my toon and shale. It starts the " state command word" dialogue. The two map markers are there. If I travel to either of them they are ghost towns. Quest log says both quests are completed. This is just cheesy.

I have tried the "text editr set state to 0" and clear cache via repair. I have uninstalled/reinstalled dlc and still nothing. Earlier saves are also borked as far as dlc is concerned.

I had the same problem with Shale and also with Soldier's Peak disappearing from my map. I think I have it fixed now, as I've been able to talk to Shale and travel to SP as well. Here's how I did it.

I followed the instructions in the first post in This Thread. (Note, you'll have to enable the console. Instructions for that are Here). That fixed Shale for me.

To get Warden's Keep fixed (and have Soldier's Peak reappear on your world map), run the following script in the console:

runscript zz_gwb_debug

it will act similar to the Shale script fix. Choose the option 'Teleport to Location' (or something similar) and choose the 'Keep Repaired' option. You'll be teleported to Soldier's Peak as it is after completion of the DLC (where the merchant and your storage chest is out front, and you have access to the smith). You can thenleaev the area and Soldier's Peak will now be on your world map again. Note, I don't believe this will restore any items you've previously stored in the party storage chest though.

The debug for soldier's peak restored my items in the party chest .. with the exception of the ruins on Starfang. I also had to do the Get Star Metal debug option to get Starfang again.

The same thing just happened to me and all of the soldier's peak equipment has disappeared (Starfang, Morigan's staff etc...).  I checked all of my saved games and those items are now missing in all of them.  Similarly, Levi is now in my camp again asking for help with Soldier's Peak.  This is a major bug and I hope there is a patch for it soon.

Surflantern, see Section 1 of the DLC In Game Errors FAQ for more details. You have to completely exit and restart the game to get the content to appear again in all your old saves. Then you can evaluate how far back your last good save was.
