You don't like the game so far, we know.  I thought your bullet-point list was fine, I agreed with some of it, and it was well-reasoned.  It wasn't a true critique of the game, however.  You left out anything positive or neutral; it was, essentially, a list of things that you hated about the game after playing it for three hours.  Not everything in ME 2 is crap, so I'd be interested in hearing what you like about the game, as well.

This is true for pretty much every new "impressions" thread that's opened (with the odd exception), and is more or less the reason people are getting sick of them...then there are the obnoxiously veiled (Is ME2 an RPG?!) threads. One such thread is simply titled; "So remind me what armour does now?".

As I said, chances are that most feedback will be taken with a pinch of salt for now. It's pretty hard to gauge true feelings, when a majority of them are still riding on the backs of either hype, or extreme cynicism.

Thank bioware for this amazing game!!   I am enjoying this game great deal but I have couple things I wish where in the game (armor for companions(need armor for some places - Space, The Migrant Fleet, etc),  unlimited ammo, more casual outfits and the preorder armors - helmets off) but I very impressed Bioware, thanks :)!   Can't wait for more DLC & ME 3 :).

It's funny that my completely on-topic post about gameplay issues in ME2 gets locked, but this post which does not belong in this forum since it deosn't invovle gameplay in ME1 or ME2 sicks around and even gets a bump from the guy who locked me.

Nice way to run a forum.

yeah Chris told you waht to do you sorta spoiled an entire mission in general discussion wich is clearly labeled No SPoilers allowed.....SO continue to whine but you did actrually do wrong.

had you registered your game as advised by chris you'd have seen by no wi've already reposted your topic for you there just i couldn't remeber your name all your important non-attacking words are quoted though ^^ and i made it clear that i simply reposted it appropriately.

your welcomed in advance

this game is a masterpiece compared to the first mass effect. All you people who say it is not an rpg are right. Its not an rpg is something better. No longer do I have to spend thirty minutes equiping my crew with guns, armor, upgrades, make omnigel, spend two hours in a crappy mako to get up mount everest, spend hours talking to npc's that lend no insight to the story or feel of the game. You haters go on and hate on bioware for turning mass effect into an epic adventure that is enjoyable and better than the first in every possible way. You complain that it is not a true rpg, well niether was dragon age, or fallout three, or oblivion, etc etc etc. You want a true rpg get out some paper, pens, and d&d books and enjoy yourself. As for myself thank you bioware for another epic game. You have outdone yourselves and some people just like to complain. Now back to my epic adventure.

i kinda enjoyed the time it took it was mentally stimulating don't get me wrong the Game is bloody awesome thus far and in my mind it's still an RPG it just unerves me in a way ME didn't and not for revolutionary game play there is just something oddly unerving about it for me great game but i always feel like i'm making the wrong decisions.

I'm just on Omega exploring right now, but this game is great. Definitely a step up from the first.

The blood dragon armour is way better than it was in Dragon Age, too! Keep up the good work - Bioware never disappoints!

With so many holes in the distribution of the DLC's I begin to doubt the quality of the game.
Neither have more answers about Return to Ostagar, this is really disappointing.

These kind of comments make me sick. Just play the game...you will enjoy yourself. Bioware spent countless hours into making a truly quality experience and you're complaining about a little dlc slip-up? Shame....
Great job Bioware. Awesome game!

I also want to say thanks to bioware... mass effect 1 was my favorite game, and you guys literally fixed everything that I was hoping would be fixed for mass effect 2. Love the free dlc for the pc, and everything about it, already am pumped for with future mass effect work.

Reported you for good measure :) Not everyone will like it, but you're not adding anything to the discussion. Plenty of good negative feedback to be had if you, yannow - put some effort into it instead of trolling.

Personally I would have liked a bit more specifics on weapons (How effective are they at armour/biotics/armour etc, not just vague terms) but other than that I've very little to complain about.

Loving the game thusfar.

Wow, I'm actually blown away by ME2! I just finished ME1 again after a long break just to refresh my memory and I have to say I enjoyed the ME1 again - I was surprised. I expected some changes of course for ME2, graphics...game play...etc but I'm honestly surprised how much ME2 evolved is from ME1. I have been fan of Bioware since Baldur's Gate...it was great in 1998 and it gets better from there on...incredible. I'm playing slowly through ME2...so that I can enjoy every second of it to the max.

I never had any problems with DAO or ME2 regarding registering or DLC, not sure if it helps but I'm playing the PC DVD version...I didn't want to with digital version. Registering ME2 and getting DLC was faster of course because my profile was already created by the time I got DAO.

I didn't have any problem with ME1 saved game (I bought ME1 again ...through Steam, because the original PC DVD version had SecuROM DRM...which I hate with passion). I simply run the ME2 config I pointed to the saved game directroy of ME1 under my user profile - Windows 7 Pro 64bit edition. It went silky smooth from there...

Thank You Bioware for an amazing game, yet again!

PS: Does anyone know how to take a screenshot in PC version of ME2?

Hey, Community Co-ordinator guy, if only you would also respond to the threads in which people have legitimate complaints.

Like, for example, the issue that people are having with their Cerberus Network codes not activating because they entered their codes at the website instead of in-game. Silence is difficult to go on. At least an acknowledge that you guys are aware that people have paid for something they're not getting.

Clearly you'll acknowledge a favorable thread - by why not acknowledge a thread in which people are trying to sort out a major problem? And by the way, there about eight or nine threads now in which people are all posting about the exact same thing - namely, that their Cerberus Code was eaten by the Social Network website, and is no longer valid for use.

An acknowledgment would be nice.

This game is so fantastic and so was Dragon Age!
Keep up the good work, no one makes games as good as you! (Valve is up there though hehe).

Thank god we have games like this these days (:

@OP, we both share a lot of love for the game. I second your sentiments. BioWare you have outdone yourselves immensely!!!

Good to hear I am not the only one bud!
The game just gets better and better! Ive played 7 hours today! haha, I rarely do that in a videogame.
Thanks again Bioware, this game is better then I was even hoping for!

I use xfire for my screenshots bud! You can set the options so what ever button you want takes pictures!
For me I have it set up so F3 is my screenshot button! IT then saves it to your xfire account and on your computer!
Very easy and what not!

Finished it and readying up for second playthrough before Bioshock 2 comes out. Might wait for a guide since I think I did everything but I want to make sure. I am going to keep my last save for ME3 though. I made all the decisions the first time with no knowledge so I feel its more real then if I played it a second time and already knew what was going to happen.

Debating whether this is my new favorite game over Bioshock. Rapture is just so amazing, but so is the Milky Way. TOO MANY CHOICES ARGGHHH!!! lol
